I'm renaming you Calamity Jazz lol. Maybe buy smaller less heavy bottles? Glad you had a successful trip to the charity shop though. Sorry about the catfish Owl. Well done on the garden Blackmagic, I don't think mine will ever be finished. Doesn't help that 3 landscapers in a row have let us down over laying a patio. It's just a small one so obviously they don't think it's worth their time so why bother giving us a quote and arranging a start date - so annoying!

It's almost 500 miles Jazz and takes around 10 hours including a couple of rest breaks.

Oh no Jazz - are they still useable? I had a weekend trip to Eastbourne to see my family. It was lovely to see them all but very tiring driving all that way

Lovely to hear Wispa is doing so well Owl. That does sound like a bit of a bodge job Blackmagic. Laughing at your description of lifting your jelly like retriever. I know exactly what you mean. I need to get out of this stupid sleep pattern I've got into. Awake till stupid o'clock and tired during the day.

Good morning all on this Bank Holiday Monday. Not that it makes much difference to me since I retired. Not got any particular plans but will probably go and buy some plants and do some more work in the garden. Anyone doing anything nice?

Hope you got Wispa out somewhere nice Owl That was good of Lewis to put your fencing up Jazz. Hope your stomach is better soon and you get your shopping sorted. I rarely do an online food shop, we couldnt in Dunoon so I got out of the habit, but we have rediscovered Iceland and some of their special offers are online only so we do order from them. After a week of warm and sunny weather we are back to rain today. I guess the garden needed it but I didn't! It's very mild though and I took a chance and planted out some sweet peas and dwarf lupins the other day and they seem to be doing well. I have lots of spares though in case they fail. Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend.

Think old age has galloped up om me Jazz lol. Pleased Wispa had the day she wanted Owl and enjoyed it. Hope she has many more days like it xx

The joys of being short lol, I sympathise Jazz. Did you get the foster's scan rebooked? Had another day pottering in the garden. Very sunny but quite a chilly breeze. Fine for digging holes for planting though. Still a long way to go till the garden looks anything like I want it to, but getting there slowly. Loads to do in the house too but I can't be indoors when the weather's good so that can wait. Being in the west of Scotland I'm sure there's plenty wet days to come. Hope everyone is well and getting some sunny weather too.

How is Wispa today, Owl?

fingers crossed Wispa feels better very soon. Thank you for my birthday wishes. I had a trip to a garden centre and got some lovely plants as my pressie from Richard and we had lunch there as well. Lovely day so far

I don't know how you do it Jazz, but it's so good you do Been an unexpectedly warm and sunny day here. Got some garden stuff done, potted up some sunflowers and got the mini greenhouse set up and filled up with plants that have been growing on in the conservatory. It's full already!

So, Jazz, totally lost again.Who is in your gang now lol? Is Pippa the one with the spectacular ears?

Sounds like a wonderful walk Owl. Does you the world of good. Thanks for the foster update Jazz. I don't know how you do it. I have nothing of interest to report. The weather is dull and grey and I have been doing housework. Meh.

Oh no Owl, you're really having a bad time of it. Wish you better soon. I have spent most of today potting up seedlings and there's still what looks like hundreds to go. I always underestimate how many will germinate and plant too many. Meant be a nice day tomorrow so will hopefully get some time in the garden. Get stir crazy if I spend too much time indoors lol
