akitas
With permission of Akita Rescue and Welfare I crosspost this: Just to let you all know that Snowy who was on our welfare page has been stolen. The new owners had walked Snowy to the local paper shop where they met a man who admired the dog. The new owner asked if this person would care to hold Snowies lead while they popped into the shop to buy a paper, when they came out the person and Snowy where gone. This has been reported to the police and to Battersea as this is where Snowy had been rehomed from. Battersea are livid that anyone could be so stupid as to ask a complete stranger to look after a dog so they could pop into a shop and do some shopping. Snowy was re homed in the London area, when I get more details as location I will post to the board. Please crosspost to any other forums or sites that you can think of, We need to make this dog to hot to handle so with a little luck we will get the dog back. Snowy it micro chipped and has been done so there is no chance of being used in breeding. This three year old, neutered Akita was stolen outside the newsagents on Crest Road, London, NW2 7UB, on Saturday the 1st July. If you have seen her, if you know where she is, if you have any information please help her to be reunited with her owner who is distraught with worry.
