It is open to all dogs and will be judged independently of the charity so that we are not biased towards the greyhounds The theme is Hounds in Action which is an odd choice for a greyhound charity as all of dogs are too lazy for any action shots. There are 3 fantastic prizes The Prizes: Prizes will be offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Prizes are as follows: 1st Place: Robin Bacchus of 'Captured on Canvas' is kindly donating her time to create a gorgeous hand painted portrait of your dog worth £280! You can either have a sitting with her or alternatively send various photographs so she captures your hound in all its glory. More of her work can be found at www.capturedoncanvas.org 2nd Place: A fantastic BESPOKE leather lead worth £70 generously donated by Holly & Lil of Bermondsey, London. Image TBC More of their super hound accessories can be found at: www.hollyandlil.co.uk 3rd Place: Get your hound off the sofa and interested in being trained with a range of training products worth £30 that has been kindly donated by 'Company Of Animals'. The Basics: The theme of the photo competition is 'HOUNDS IN ACTION' Entry fee is a donation of £1 per photograph, up to 4 photographs per person allowed. The competition is open to anyone including KGR trustees and volunteers as our judges are not affiliated with KGR. The closing date for entries will be Friday 30th April 2010 The closing date for payment of entry fees will be Wednesday 5th May 2010 Judging will commence on Thursday 6th May and results published Sunday 9th May 2010. Payment can also be made via paypal, but an extra 50p will need to be added to cover the paypal charges.
