reds
In last years floods a local farmer lost about 60 sheep after the river flooded and the sheep were not moved in time. He was blaming the environment agency for not giving him adequate warning Fact is that the field was a flood plain next to the river and the water had been rising for hours. Locals warned him what was happening but he didn't bother to turn up until it was too late. Turns out that he also lost sheep to flood water on 3 separate occassions (Sep., Nov., Dec., and Jan.)because they were not moved off the field. Obviously not a true stockman. He was jailed for 4 months and received a lifetime ban from keeping animals. I think that's quite a result!
