Karen
OH's niece is sadly separating from her parter and they are in the process of selling their house. Charlotte would like to keep her cat until she has new accommodation sorted out, but she will be staying with her mum for some months who has several very nervy cats herself and doesn't want another cat in the house stirring things up. Charlotte would like someone to foster the cat for 3-6 months. Where is a good place to start looking for such a person if they exist? I'm getting together details of the local rescues for her, as there is obviously no guarantee that the house will sell quickly and I'm not convinced that she can fund the cost of cats care in the meantime. Any ideas appreciated!
Judith gsd
She could try posting for help on this forum - http://www.chaptanservices.com/purrs/index.php, it won't be easy as most folks on there deal with rescue, and of course are fully stretched at the moment. I wish her all the best in her quest to keep her cats.

madison
She could also try emailing cat chat's helpdesk service at [email protected]. They may have some contact details for long term foster homes.
