lazydaisy
This week I have been exhausted! I have only had work for 1.5 days and am not doing any more than usual. I have been in bed at 9, 9.30 and 9.45 for the last three nights and have had to drag myself out of bed every morning. These are very early times for me to go to sleep, but I have not been able to stay up any longer. So, O wise women, is tiredness a symptom of the menopause
Ruthi (borrowadog)
It is, but it tends to creep up on you, rather than happening suddenly. Its also the sign of all sorts of other things including diabetes, hypothyroidism and goodness knows what else. But all of them are relatively unlikely in comparison the most likely which is that you have some sort of virus. If you are tired all the time for a prolonged period (more than a couple of weeks) then you need to go and see a doctor. Ruth

bonniebird
Get your thyroid checked, I have an underactive thyroid, it can make you feel like s**t My dad was quite ill last week from his, until they upped his thyroxin. the thyroid is apparently like a starter motor in a car, its responsible for loads of things in the body.
