Red Rotties Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 The road to Sunderland Point is unpassable when the tide is in the main street the biggest house Village Green another veiw the outlook There is also a lot of sadness there to as the village was at one time a major port with links to the slave trade, there is no grave yard but on the edge of a field overlooking the estuary is a grave of a young slave boy who died when he reached land from the West Indies but now people leave flowers and gifts for him, God Bless him Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
