babsc71
Finn is a working type Springer Spaniel that was surrendered to Irish rescue kennels because he was no longer needed to work to the gun. As he is quite shy I find it hard to believe that he was ever shot over! He does however like hunting the hegerows (typical Springer) and his recall and lead work need to be worked upon. He is now living with us until his forever home can be found. Finn is not 100% house-trained as he has lived outside until now but he is almost there. He has just been neutered and is vaccinated. Although Finn is a smaller type Springer he is strong so he will need someone that can put in the training required to stop him pulling on the lead and also to work on other aspects of his training to make him into a lovely companion. He is great with the other dogs here but not good with birds and cats. As he is a little nervous we will not home him with children under 8 years old. Once he trusts someone he is very affectionate and will roll over for a belly rub. A home check and a donation to help with costs will be required please.
