Ceredigion Animal Rescue
Max is a lovely boy who had a really bad coat when he came into rescue and had to be shaved by the Vet. His coat is beginning to grow back but he does look a bit of a sorry sight. He has spent most of his life chained up and it has been a real pleasure seeing his reaction to being able to run off lead and to be taken out on walks. He is beginning to really enjoy a cuddle but finds it hard to stand still long enough to really enjoy it. He is very good with other dogs except when he is eating. He is being fed on a hypoallergenic food as he has sensitive digestion which is quite common in GSDs. He is very inquisitive on his walks and we are walking him in a harness until his coat grows back. He didn’t have much muscle when he came to us but is gradually building muscle with regular walks. Although he has never lived in a house he is very clean in his kennel so should be easy to house train. If you can give Max the home he deserves for the rest of his life please contact us on 0845 3105663 or email us on [email protected]. We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.

lazyhound
Wow. What a difference in such a short period time. Amazing how far some TLC and a good diet will go. Hope he finds his forever home soon x
