RANNOUCH

RannouchTeckels.jpg

This perfect pair of Trailhounds are 9 years old and seeking a home as perfect as they are.

Aged 8 and 9, the boys have been together since puppy hood and we have no wish to see them seperated now, so they are looking for a family that has room in their hearts and homes for two larger sized dogs.

Both good with other dogs, children and cats and their temporary foster family report that they were are pleasure to have in their home and would fit in with any family.

Please call Teckels, 01452 740300 for an invitation to meet the boys with a view to adoption.

Kilois looking for a home with somebody that ideally has previousexperience of owning a bull-breed type dog. Kilo can be quite strong onthe lead but walks nicely on a harness. He would benefit from furtherobedience training but enjoys training that is based on positivereinforcement. He reacts well to training that is food/toy motivated.Kilo is very playful and enjoys the company of people. He is anenergetic dog that requires an active home with plenty of exercise. Blazeris quite an independent dog when in an open area. He enjoys the companyof people and is quite affectionate, however, when outside he likes toexplore the area and have a good sniff around. He would benefit fromsome more obedience training but is quite good on the lead. In a homeenvironment, Blazer is very settled and enjoys being around people. Heappears to be ok with most other dogs but would probably prefer livingas an only dog. As Blazer came to us as a stray, he can not be rehomedto anyone with children under ten.

th_P1010426.jpg

Jazzyis a very affectionate dog that loves being around people. She can bequite nervous of new things although seems to overcome this veryquickly. Jazzy can be quite strong on the lead and will require somefurther obedience training. As Jazzy came to us as a stray we don'thave any previous history on her and she can therefore only be rehomedwith children under the age of ten. She thoroughly enjoys being aroundpeople and chasing after toys. She is eager to learn new commands andis starting to learn how to play. Her ideal home would be with somebodythat has previous experience of owning a dog.

LANEY

Terrier X, Female, 3 Years Old

Laney is quite an independent dogwho can live in a house as usual but prefers to spend a good section ofthe day sniffing around on her own outside. She needs a very securegarden and would be better off on a smallholding-type dwelling withoutlivestock, or surrounding sheep. Dominant with other bitches shewouldn’t be suitable for people who have visiting bitches to theirhome, but she interacts well with male dogs and might best be rehomedas a second dog (to a male dog). With careful introduction she istrainable to stoic or feral cats. Her recall when out walking is notgood and this is unlikely to change, yet obedience in the house andgarden is very good. Laney may do well as a companion to a male dogbelonging to people who work for part of the day.

BUSTER & JACK

buster.jpgjack.jpg

Busterand Jack are looking for a lovely home together with plenty of space. They are both lovely to take for walks and, although they have not hadmuch previous contact with other dogs, appear to be ok with them. Bothdogs are good with children and enjoy lots of fuss and interaction withpeople. They are very playful and enjoy chasing after toys in thepaddock so would like to have a good sized garden to run around in.

RALPH

Weimaraner X Labrador, Male, Approx. 2 Years Old

ralph.jpg

Ralphcame to us due to posessiveness over toys and furniture and willtherefore require an experienced home. Ralph appears to be very nervousaround new people and is therefore looking for an adult home only. Dueto his nervousness he may swing around and attempt to bite whensomebody he doesn't know well touches his back and startles him. Oncehe feels comfortable he is a very affectionate and playful dog. He haspreviously lived with another dog, however, does not like cats. He is apleasure to take for a walk, although being a big dog has the potentialto pull. Ralph enjoys water and swimming and travels well in the car.

SCRAPPY

gloucester%202008%20161.jpg

Terrier, Male, 4 Years Old

Scrappyis an energetic, lovely little dog that simply adores the company ofpeople. His basic obedience is very good and he has learned some veryimpressive tricks. He loves water and will pick up a bowl of water, carry it around and then tip it over his head. Scrappy doesn't likeother animals and will have to go to a home with one person only as hedoesn't like sharing his affection. He is also looking for a home withsomebody that is at home for most of the time. He loves going for walksand enjoys chasing after balls and would probably really enjoy doingsome agility training.
