  1. LANEY Terrier X, Female, 3 Years Old Laney is quite an independent dogwho can live in a house as usual but prefers to spend a good section ofthe day sniffing around on her own outside. She needs a very securegarden and would be better off on a smallholding-type dwelling withoutlivestock, or surrounding sheep. Dominant with other bitches shewouldn’t be suitable for people who have visiting bitches to theirhome, but she interacts well with male dogs and might best be rehomedas a second dog (to a male dog). With careful introduction she istrainable to stoic or feral cats. Her recall when out walking is notgood and this is unlikely to change, yet obedience in the house andgarden is very good. Laney may do well as a companion to a male dogbelonging to people who work for part of the day. BUSTER & JACK Boxer, Male, 6 Years Old & Jack Russell Terrier, Male, 3 Years Old Busterand Jack are looking for a lovely home together with plenty of space. They are both lovely to take for walks and, although they have not hadmuch previous contact with other dogs, appear to be ok with them. Bothdogs are good with children and enjoy lots of fuss and interaction withpeople. They are very playful and enjoy chasing after toys in thepaddock so would like to have a good sized garden to run around in. RALPH Weimaraner X Labrador, Male, Approx. 2 Years Old Ralphcame to us due to posessiveness over toys and furniture and willtherefore require an experienced home. Ralph appears to be very nervousaround new people and is therefore looking for an adult home only. Dueto his nervousness he may swing around and attempt to bite whensomebody he doesn't know well touches his back and startles him. Oncehe feels comfortable he is a very affectionate and playful dog. He haspreviously lived with another dog, however, does not like cats. He is apleasure to take for a walk, although being a big dog has the potentialto pull. Ralph enjoys water and swimming and travels well in the car. SCRAPPY Terrier, Male, 4 Years Old Scrappyis an energetic, lovely little dog that simply adores the company ofpeople. His basic obedience is very good and he has learned some veryimpressive tricks. He loves water and will pick up a bowl of water, carry it around and then tip it over his head. Scrappy doesn't likeother animals and will have to go to a home with one person only as hedoesn't like sharing his affection. He is also looking for a home withsomebody that is at home for most of the time. He loves going for walksand enjoys chasing after balls and would probably really enjoy doingsome agility training.

She has to be rehomed as an only dog and can not live withany children under the age of ten. Can't live with cats. KILO Staffie, Male, Approx. 1 Year Old Kilois looking for a home with somebody that ideally has previousexperience of owning a bull-breed type dog. He reacts well to training that is food/toy motivated.Kilo is very playful and enjoys the company of people. He is anenergetic dog that requires an active home with plenty of exercise. Hehas to be rehomed as an only dog and can not live with children underthe age of ten. Can't live with cats. BLAZER Staffie X, Male, Approx. 2-3 Years Old Blazeris quite an independent dog when in an open area. He enjoys the companyof people and is quite affectionate, however, when outside he likes toexplore the area and have a good sniff around. He would benefit fromsome more obedience training but is quite good on the lead. In a homeenvironment, Blazer is very settled and enjoys being around people. Heappears to be ok with most other dogs but would probably prefer livingas an only dog. As Blazer came to us as a stray, he can not be rehomedto anyone with children under ten. 3. MIXIE Staffy, Female, 11 Months Old (Picture to follow) Mixie is a typical little staffy that has bundles of energy , is incredibly affectionate and snores when she is asleep. She loves anything to do with water, such as having a bath, and is very playful. She could spend hours running around chasing after toys, although she hasn’t mastered the “bring it back†command yet. Mixie has to live as an only dog, although she appears to get on well with dogs when out for a walk. She will need further training in and around the house, but is very willing to learn and eager to please. Mixie would love to be part of an active family and gets on well with children. She can’t live with cats, as she tends to chase them but is lovely to take for a walk and great to snuggle up with on the sofa. TILLY Greyhound, Female, Approx. 2-3 Years old (Picture to follow) This beautiful little girl is looking for a lovely home where she can spend as much time running around as she can lying on the sofa. Tilly is very well socialised and would be happy to live with another dog. She has a very calm and gentle temperament but does not like being left on her own for too long. Tilly is very good with people but can be a little timid at times so would like to go to a home with no young children or cats. Tilly would benefit from living with someone that is patient and understanding as she doesn’t like fireworks and finds it hard to cope during that time of year. In return you would gain one of the most loyal and loving dogs that you could ever ask MISTY Staffy, Female, 2 Years Old (Picture to follow) Misty is a great little dog with a lovely all-round temperament. She loves going for long walks and running around the paddock playing with toys. Misty is generally good with other dogs and loves to play with them but should be kept as an only dog as she can be a little dominant. She is very affectionate and loves getting lots of attention. Misty is very good in the car and has previously lived with cats. As well as being housetrained Misty’s general obedience is very good and with the right motivation (food or attention) loves learning new commands. ROO Smooth-haired Fox Terrier, Male, Approx. 7 Months old (Picture to follow soon) Roo is a real cute. He is a very bouncy little puppy that just wants to spend all day long running around and being fussed. He is very well socialised with other dogs and really enioys racing around the field with them playing chase. Roo’s basic obedience is quite good, although he needs to be house-trained. As he is only a young pup he should go to a home where he won’t be left for very long but can get used to being on his own gradually. His new owners should be experienced with keeping dogs and should have a good understanding of the requirements of this particular breed.
  4. GERRY Male, 10 yrs old Gerry is a really handsome boy who is so affectinate and loving towards everyone he meets. He loves nothing more than a good cuddle and will certainly enjoy a home where he can snooze the day away and have plenty of attention. Unfortunately Gerry has tested positive for Feline HIV which is a common occurence in many cats these days. This will not affect him or anyone around him and he doesnt need medication, but it does mean that he must be an only cat and ideally be kept inside. As Gerry is such a lovely boy we would love to find him a wonderful family to live with, which he really deserves. Some of our kittens!!! We have a variety of kittens at Teckels who are all looking for any home where they can have a life filled with love and affection. They range in age from very young to a few months. Please feel free to call for more details.
  5. BRUNO RE HOMED THANK YOU Mongrel (Medium Sized), Male, Approximately 6 Years Old Bruno came to us after his owners could no longer look after him. He was a much loved family pet and it certainly shows. Bruno just adores people and will simply sit next to you (leaning like a labrador), rest his head on your lap and enjoy the fuss. Bruno's general obedience is very good, although he doesn't get too excited about food he will do what you ask of him simply to please you. Bruno is great to take for a walk and is also happy to meet other dogs. He travels well in the car, likes the comfort of a warm blanket and doesn't seem to dislike anything other than having a bath. Bruno is looking for a nice home with regular walks and lots of fuss to go around. SAM Labrador, Male, Approximately 12 Years old Lovely Sam came to us as a stray and is looking for a great home with plenty of cuddles. Despite being a bit of an old boy, Sam still likes going for short walks and is always happy to get some fuss. He seems to be good with other dogs and would love a home where he can curl up in front of the fire or in a nice comfy bed. Sam's eyesight is not the best anymore and he is looking for someone that has the time and patience to help him grow old gracefully in a nice and quiet home. Sam would be a great addition to any family and certainly deserves to be looked after and cared for. TERRY Terrier X, Male, Approx. 2-3 Years old Terry is a great little dog that doesn't seem fazed by anything. He is a lovely dog to take for a walk and greatly enjoys running around the paddock chasing after toys. Terry has a lovely and calm temperament and is happy to meet new people and other dogs. He can be very playful and certainly enjoys having a tummy tickle. We unfortunately do not have any history on him but he doesn't appear to be destructive and he is very clean in his kennel. As he came to us as a stray Terry can not be rehomed with children under ten but would be happy with children that are older.
  6. BRUCE RE HOMED THANK YOU Rottweiler, Male, Approximately 2 Years Old Bruce is a very lovely boy that greatly enjoys fuss and playing with toys. He is a very friendly dog that loves his daily cuddles and will happily roll over to get a tummy rub. He is a very gentle giant that shows that you can't judge a book by its cover. Bruce knows his basic commands like "sit" and "come" and is very willing to learn learn new things. He walks well on his lead, but due to his size is very strong and will need someone that can hold him on his daily walks. Bruce seems to like bigger dogs but does not appear to like small dogs or cats. As Bruce originally came to us as a stray we would ask that his new owners don't have children under the age of ten. Bruce would make a lovely addition to any family and be a very loyal and trusting friend. COOJO RE HOMED THANK YOU Rottweiler X Mastiff, Male, Approximately 12 Months Old Coojo is a stunning looking dog that still acts like a puppy. He is a very affectionate dog that thinks he's the size of a Jack Russell and will try and sit on your lap. Coojo will need to be socialised a bit more with other dogs, as he gets very excited at the moment. He would suit someone that is experienced with large breeds and would be able to get him used to being left alone gradually. Coojo is great on the lead, he walks very nicely without pulling and will sit when asked. As he came to us as a stray he can not be rehomed with children under ten years old. JESS RE HOMED THANK YOU Staffy, Female, Approximately 2 years old Jess came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a very affectionate little girl that will need someone that will give her the attention she did not previously receive. Jess can appear a bit shy at first but bonds with people very quickly. She is a very playful young dog that loves playing hide and seek and could spend hours fetching toys. She has previously lived with children and would love to be part of a family that can appreciate what a great dog she is. Jess is a pleasure to take for a walk, although she doesn't like to mix with other dogs at the moment, she will quite happily ignore them and focus on the things she really likes such as people and toys.
  7. JOEY Joey is a lovely little boy who is looking for a fairly active home. He loves running around the paddock, playing fetch and thinks it's a great game to run towards you and jump at you with great speed. He will therefore need to go to an adults only home, however, with a bit of training and plenty of walks, this should not be a problem for long. Joey is very cuddly and enjoys plenty of fuss. He walks very nicely on the lead, once the initial excitement has worn off, but will need some basic obedience training. Joey would love to find a home with someone that may be interested in doing agility with him, as he certainly knows how to jump STRIKER Striker is a beautiful puppy that is looking for a lovely home where he can get lots of attention. He is a very bouncy little boy that walks great on the lead and loves to run around the paddock, chasing after toys. Striker has previously lived with children and is great with other dogs. His ideal home would be with someone that sees him as part of the family and, due to his age, is with someone that wouldn't leave him for too long. MEGAN & BASIL RE HOMED - THANK YOU Megan and Basil are two adorable little Terriers that are looking for a lovely home together. They both have a lovely temperament with bundles of energy and greatly enjoy plenty of cuddles. Megan and Basil are looking for an experienced dog owner that is happy to invest some time in training them, which they have not previously experienced. They will need to learn to walk on a lead, be housetrained and also learn some basic obedience. In return, you will gain two friends for life. Megan and Basil would prefer a quiet, adults only, home .
  8. RUBY 7 Year old Bull Terrier Ruby is a really sweet girl who enjoys lots of fuss and attention. She came to us through no fault of her own, as her owner unfortunately is no longer able to care for her. Ruby is a bit of a couch potatoe, and would benefit from a home where she is encouraged to go out and about a bit more. She would make a great companion to anyone that is looking for a dog as part of the family and will make a loyal and trusting friend. Ruby is very playful and is good with older children. Unfortunately, Ruby really doesn’t like other dogs and will have to be an only dog. SCRUMPY I Year old Lurcher Scrumpy is a typical young Lurcher, very playful, and absolutely adorable!! He was abandoned in Southern Ireland, and as a consequence does have some separation anxiety, however as long as he is always with another dog or not left on his own for too long, this isn’t a problem. He is crate trained and also house trained. He is very loving, adores children, but being bouncy would not be good with small ones. He is NOT cat friendly and would benefit from more socialisation with other dogs when out on the lead, (he can pull and bark a little bit when he see’s another dog). He would benefit from some basic obedience training, however off lead he is great, though he has only ever been let him off in secure fields and not parks in towns. He will play with other dogs happily, usually him being the bullied one!! He is fantastic if he meets another strange dog off a lead, no aggression there at all, only barking when on a lead. He always runs near to you and is easy to catch up again. Scrumpy is currently in a foster home, but if you were interested please call Teckels and we can arrange for you to meet him.
  9. ANGEL Female Staffie x 4 aged Years Came to Teckels as a stray so looking for a home where she can be an only pet and where children are aged 10+. Angel walks well on the leads, is clean in her kennel and knows basic obedience.
  10. KITTENS We have a variety of kittens at Teckels who are all looking for any home where they can have a life filled with love and affection. They range in age from very young to a few months. Please feel free to call for more details. WINNIE Winnie is a lovely girl who we think is approximately 12 years old. She likes to be stroked, and is happy to lie on your lap and purr away! Ideally she would be rehomed with a quiet family who will give her plenty of love and affection NUTKIN Nutkin is a very pretty girl who enjoys her food and loves her bed! We think she is approximately 10 years old, and would suit an experienced cat owner who could devote time to allow her to be become more confident with people. CHARLIE Charlie is a lovely boy who is approximately 8-9 years of age. He is hoping to find a home on his own without any other animals where he can live the rest of his life with plenty of cuddles. He finds it hard to trust people initially and will need someone that is prepared to invest the time it takes him to get to know you. He likes to be in a quiet house, and therefore is not really suitable for young children. Unfortunately Charlie only has one eye and no tail, but this doesn't stop him from enjoying life to the full.
  11. BRUNO Collie X, Male, + - 3 Years Bruno is the typical teenager of our group. He is a really cute boy, and a real pleasure to be around but sometimes forgets his manners in the excitement. However, when out for a walk he walks very nicely on the lead and his basic obedience is very good. Bruno enjoys learning new tricks but would much rather do it when food is on offer. He loves being sprayed with the hose pipe in the summer and seems happy to meet other dogs. POPPY RE HOMED - THANK YOU Staffy X, 4 Months Old Poppy is a very energetic puppy with bundles of energy. She enjoys lots of fuss and attention and can get very excited. Poppy has recently being taking part in our Teckels puppy classes, which she thoroughly enjoys, especially playing with the other dogs. She will benefit from plenty of socilaisation in her daily life, and will suit someone with an active lifestyle that is happy to invest time in teaching her some basic obedience. Poppy loves to run around the paddock chasing after toys and will come when called.
  12. TALISKA RANNOUCH This perfect pair of Trailhounds are 9 years old and seeking a home as perfect as they are. Aged 8 and 9, the boys have been together since puppy hood and we have no wish to see them seperated now, so they are looking for a family that has room in their hearts and homes for two larger sized dogs. Both good with other dogs, children and cats and their temporary foster family report that they were are pleasure to have in their home and would fit in with any family.
