jax39
I was recently recommended rhus tox for my little oldie springer who has very stiff legs, cant find the thread, or the email of the kind person who told me about it. Anyway Im off to get some today, was wondering if anyone else uses it, and how much should I give?
Ruthi (borrowadog)
Rhus Tox works well for the kind of stiffness that is worst on waking, gradually eases and then worsens again towards the end of the day. Buy the 6c variety from Boots. Give one tablet daily for a week and see what happens. If the dog improves stop giving the tablets until he starts to worsen again, if nothing happens in a week then it probably won't. NEVER give homoeopathic remedies once the symptoms improve or they will get worse again. Don't touch the tablets - tip into the dogs mouth. And don't feed for 15minutes before or after. There are other remedies for arthritis/stiffness - pm me if you get no results. Ruth
