Yeti
Following Gill's post on the totally ineffectual statement by Rt. Hon. Ben Bradshaw MP, I went poking around the "They Work For You" website, and then it struck me: Why not have a thread where the good guys and the bad guys are listed. That we know who is sympathetic to the plight of greyhounds, and who is not. So to kick it off, here's two good guys, and links to why: Philip Hollobone (Kettering, Conservative) Comments during Animal Husbandry (Welfare Standards) debate on 11 Oct 2006 Roger Gale (North Thanet, Conservative) Comments during Animal Husbandry (Welfare Standards) debate on 11 Oct 2006
Abigailj
Great topic Well Alan Meale spoke about greyhounds. I can't locate the exact speech though. I think he was perhaps responsible for an Early Day Motion?

Nettie
I'm afraid that my MP is a total dead loss, he did sign the EDM but that's about it. He took nigh on 10 weeks to reply and that was only after I sent him another email wondering whether Labour actually wanted to get into Government again at the next election, sort of kicked him into action.
