  1. Ow ow ow owwwww

When I was stood freezing on the platform waiting for the train I thought I had a bit of a toothache but put it down to a very cold face, a couple of hours later and I'm in agony only it's like the top right side of my jaw is in pain. I've had a squish for an abcess put can't find anything owwwww :mecry:

.........and I've finished my book and I didn't want it to end  , does anyone else feel like they've lost a friend when they finish a book that they've really got into - or is it me

  2. Unfortunately most of the commercially sold rabbit hutches are way too small and what seemed big enough for 'baby' bunny is soon inadequate as people don't realise how big buns can get. I rehomed my current 2 girls as babies from a small rabbit rescue and was assured that they were dwarf sisters - and they have grown into dwarf donkeys  It's also more difficult in winter to give small furries adequate exercise outdoors - especially if you work. My girls live in over winter and have a third of the spare bedroom to run around in.

A previous neighbour had a rabbit and she moved out and left him for days, despite telling ex she'd be back for him and would call in to feed him. I climbed over the fence and his hutch was minging with a couple of slices of bread buried in the mess for his food. The first thing I did was clean him out and feed him then I phoned the RSPCA as he also had ulcerated testicles (probably from living knee deep in s*** and piss). They were fantastic - the inspector was out in a few hours - I was told off for cleaning him out as they couldn't see first hand the conditions but had the bag of sodden bedding.

She kept following up and he came and lived over my side of the fence for a few days but sadly, even with treatment the little lad died.

  3. I've been a bit quiet after Dexter's major health scare earlier this year, however bucketloads of love and tears later, I'd like to report that he's astounded the vets by sticking up two fingers (paws  ) to their diagnosis and was able to go on his holibobs a few weeks ago. He's is still larger than life and bringing joy to me every day (and being equally annoying with quilt and bed shredding antics), my wonderful boy (can you tell I luffs him  )

  4. I was the winning bidder on the pet portrait

Crikey it's a roller coaster. I wanted a picture of Dexter, my dog in a million  and he was so very ill earlier this year, but all my pics of him were useless for a portrait and then my camera died. Finally agreed that this was the pic (with the eye booger taken out  )

Will update as it comes along :flowers:

  5. I thought the performances ranged from awful to mediocre at best - one of the worst X Factors ever. Have I missed something, as it seems to have turned into the Cheryl Cole show - she whines on as if it's all about her, s*d the acts. She's turning into a wholly dislikable, self centred little madam.

  6. Poor Bonnie needs another blankie

My middle age spread is rapidly getting out of control, especially since I had one cold after another so treated myself to a season ticket at the station car park for the winter and that's less walking. I don't eat junk food and rarely have crisps, chocolates and sweets but am partial to a glass or two of red wine on non work nights tho and am loathe to give that up  This week I've tried to take myself in hand a bit and belly danced on Monday and zumba'd Tuesday and tonight. Hey ho, we'll see what happens

  7. Are we going to have a little gem christmas video this year :elefant: :elefant:

edited cos I have the attention span of a gnat  I'm sure a lucky dog will just 'happen' across you Jules :GroupHug:
