  1. Sorry to hear you've had bad news. This is always a good place to offload stuff. Re the kitchen - I'd be happy to do yours instead of mine. Mine is only going to need doing again in a couple of days - so I might just as well leave it to fester.
  2. I used to find a lot of new life forms growing in used mugs, which I found under my kids' beds when they were teenagers. YUK! They've now migrated to corners of the kitchen (the life forms, not my kids.) LOL
  3. OMG!! I'm saying this without a hint of shame - I AM GREEN WITH ENVY. It looks gorgeous. However I'm very slightly embarrassed as I read the title as "I am buying a HORSE."
  4. Just found, and ate, OH's chcolate stash.
  5. That made me LOL!! The old life form is working today - quite good as he's not worked for ages and we're going away for a long weekend with the family next weekend. (Scarily large wedding anniversary celebration) He will have some pocket money now.
  6. She sounds a nasty, manipulative bully. No different advice I'm afraid. I really hope that writing it down for your parents will help.
  7. Hi sorry you are still so sad about losing your boy. The right time will come along and there will be a the right shaped beast out there ready to fill the space in your home. Until then have a
  8. There were new life forms growing in the corners.
  9. I have been cleaning the kitchen!
  10. OMG I've been bursting into tears over not very much for two days now. I don't feel sad or depressed but all sorts of stoopid stuff is making me cry. It's a bit like having PMT (this would be a medical mystery, not to say miracle) without the wanting to kill someone feeling.
  11. Sorry I've only just seen this - hope you've enjoyed your birthday.
  12. I'm not keeping up - again. I've not been sleeping so have tred keeping off the t'Internet to see it it helped. It hasn't. Also life the universe and everything is getting in the way a bit. Lots of for those in need. I must try harder, I must try harder, I must try harder to keep up.
  13. Oh dear - my son is staying with us for the weekend. He went out yesterday morning to visit friends, watch the Stevenage - Newcastle game with them and then go for a drink. He woke us up at 2.00am because he couldn't get his doorkey in the keyhole (need I say more?). He's just emerged from his room looking like something from "Night of the Living Dead".
  14. I'm with you , Alicia - always coming across stuff that everyone else seems to know and I don't - just can't think of it at the moment. I'll post wheh I remember it - it'll be about 2.00 in the morning.
  15. Horrible dilemma! Maybe a gentle warning timed so she gets it when almost home, saying something like: You're a bit worried about Tia. You know she hasn't got out but you haven't seen her. Hope she was just fast asleep somewhere and didn't hear you calling.
  16. Hope you all took the good ones and left him just the strawberry and orange creams. BTW I don't think that nicked chocolate has any calories - a bit like broken biscuits or food eaten standing-up
  17. Me too, me too Lots of fellow sufferers on here who are very supportive if you're feeling really rough or even just a bit rough. Have a and I hope the new medication kicks in soon.
  18. Sounds VERY interesting! Where is this mad lovely place?
  19. In the States they call that an "ass (a*se) call".
  20. Mine's insured through my bank, Natwest. The insurance comes with the joint account I have with OH. They've paid out for two new ones last year. OH lost his or had it stolen , we were never sure and mine went down the loo
  21. I have a couple of things one is to achieve a 100% recall with Como - he's on the way but if something more interesting is around he "c***'s a deaf 'un" and disappears. The other is the scary life-changing one. I'm not leading the life I want to lead in terms of lifestyle and location. The change I want is big and scarey and would affect my family and friends quite a lot so it needs a lot of thought and planning etc. It's still in the where shall I go? what should I do? should I? shouldn't I? stage. I haven't discussed it with anyone yet so it's all staying in my head for now.
  22. for you while you sort out your dilemma. "What to do? What to do?"" is a very exhausting feeling.
