Sorry, this is a bit long but might save someone from being scammed. Yesterday OH got an unexpected delivery by DHL of an iPhone. Ithad been sent by O2. He hadn't ordered it so rang O2 to tell them. They checked and said it had been ordered fraudulently in his name and he should send it back. They also said their fraud department would be contacting him about it. He'd just got off the phone to O2 when there was a phone call from someone saying they were from DHL. They said they'd mistakenly delivered an item to him and would send someone round to collect it. OH told them that he'd checked with O2 and it was fraudulently ordered and he was sending it back himself. He then decided to contact the police who told him that scam and that he'd done the right thing to tell them and O2. The scammers had got hold of our address, ordered the phone and then tracked its delivery. Once they knew it had been delivered they tried to collect it and it would never have been seen again. Presumably OH would have been liable to pay for it. So I thought that I'd put it on here so that no-one gets caught by this. If anyone else has received an iPhone (or any mobile phone) that they haven't ordered don't be fooled into handing it over to anyone who says they're from the delivery company. Contact the phone company and the police.

Hello all. I'm not keeping up at all - too much going on in my little life. So please take any or all of these as appropriate I've started doing RallyO (sp?) with Como - he's quite good at it, I'm not v good at it. He's a bright dog hampered by a useless owner. Has he at last found his doggy niche in life? I've been fighting off the cold from hell since last Saturday but it's snuck up on me and I feel like my head is wrapped in cotton wool and I'm coughing for England.

Alicia, I'm so sorry. It's such a hard decision but you love her and it's the last kind thing you can do for her. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Alex, so sorry about your Gran. Re my "dry leaf" arms, I gave them a bit of a scrub to exfoliate them (very posh) and then loads of moisturiser and they didn't look too bad. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Thanks Fugees for the suggestions. I was tempted by a cardi, Jazz but having a "shape" is a bit of a novelty for me so I don't want to cover it up (I only have baggy cardis). Although sparkly stuff also appeals I think I'd prefer not to draw attention my old arms so E45 it is.

Help, please, please, please. I'm going to a party tonight - my dress has elbow length sleeves so no chance of hiding my arms which are looking like old dried leaves. Any suggestions of something to put on them so that they look "normal"?

Always sad news when anyone loses a doggy friend. RMF I am INCREDIBLY grumpy - not even a Cadbury's creme egg has cheered me up ...maybe a second one would do the trick?

That must have been terrifying. Have as many as you need. Not sure what to suggest but I'd call the police if it happened to me. Maybe they've tried it before and it may not be that they were specifically after your son. ((( )))

OH got a little too much sun today and decided he needed aloe vera gel to cool himself down. I sent him to find it in the kitchen - he can NEVER find anything but came back looking very pleased with himself, saying he'd found some in the bathroom. on closer inspection he had a very pretty, sparkly chest. He'd actually found aloe vera shimmer/sparkle body gel and applied it generously. I was sooo tempted not to tell him!

Hello I'm more than ok, thank you, Michelle. Slightly embarrassed to say that we're staying with friends for four weeks in the Florida Keys. Shhhh! I didn't like to say too much cos it sounds all boasty and stuff. We're having a fantastic time quite nice time with temps in the 80's I mean sunny weather. I saw a manatee - he/she came up to the dock to drink from the hose, unfortunately the pics I took were rubbish but OH's might be better but it'll be a wait for those. Como and Flo have gone to stay with their "Mum" they always have a fantastic time there but come back like naughty children who are sulking because they were left behind. We have dog replacement therapy as our friends have two tiny dogs, a miniature pinscher who is 15 and a chihuahua who is 6 so we're not without canine company. to those who need them. We're back in March - oooh, forgot it's March now - so back soon!
