It's little Duds birthday on Thursday he'll be 5. Are you camping at the weekend? If you are come and have a Birthday Drink on Saturday night. Hope he didn't bark at you on Sunday, he was a bit grizzly all day it was like having a toddler hanging round whinging.

I heard a presentation and wondered if it was you as the said where's Dudley and I know it wasn't me I didn't hang around for the small and medium jumping as it was so hot and not cooling down at all. I'm at Newlands so will make an effort to have an 'at home' of I could stand in the middle of the exercise and shout 'Dudley' and see who turns up.

I'm there with Dudley and Suzi and my camper van Boo. Boo is white with blue palm trees on the side so come and say Hello.
  6. Ooooo Good Luck. What club are you training with?
  7. Way to go big Dudley.
  8. I thought that about Dudley, we got our first placing at UKA last October and our first KC one in April so never say never.
  9. I've found with little Dudley that a plant sprayer with nice cool water in sprayed between in legs and rounds his neck really help when it's boiling hot at shows and training. Well done Penny and your daughter, it's great when they have their name called over the tannoy isn't it. Never thought it would happen to Dudley and now can't wait for the the have to read Suzi of the Molly Mop Tops
  10. Well done you. Dudley came 4th in Medium Novice Agility at St Edwards yesterday.
  11. It's only this year he's started getting clears regularly. Last year he managed 22 the year before that only 4.
  12. Well done Shaun. You'll be catching me up at this rate.
  13. Have replied to your PM hope it helps.
  14. You could also try targeting them so they get used to working ahead of you as sometimes the nipping is frustration that you are not going fast enough Try putting an upturned bucket with a treat on it 2 or 3 jumps away and sending them to the bucket, you will need to have got them used to the idea that there is a treat on the bucket and someone standing by the bucket to whip the treat away in case they run round or under the jump. Once thet get the idea you'll find it's a good way of training on your own too. You can then start to go further and further away until they are happy to work ahead of you THEN you have the fun of using directionals as they will normally be 2-3 jumps ahead but no nipping. Good luck
  15. That's brillient Sandymoss. Ah Ned works this time but you wait until the next. Thanks for the tips leonak.
  16. Well done you and big Dudley. How did you like your first camping experience. Mines the weekend of the 15th July and for some reason I'm really nervous Little Dudley was a very good boy at the weekend and got 3 clear rounds, on Saturday he would have been 13th in the Nov Jumping and 8th in the Starters jumping but the only placed to 10th and 5th and yesterday I thought he was in the placing but the scorer had got her marker in the wrong place, he would have been 11th but the only placed to 10th. so close so lets hope the weather is cooler next weekend so I can get an extra second out of him Suzi was such a good girl too which is my biggest achievement. She only got emlimated in 3 out of 6 classes and only got 10 faults in he starters agility yesterday BUT she has taken to leaping off her contacts so more work needed I think.
  17. Don't give up after 6 lessons, that's just the time they suddenly realise what it's all about and start really looking forward to it hence the shrieking and shouting. Dudley gets out of the car and starts shouting 'I'm here now' so everyone can get ready to greet him.
  18. My Dudley was the greatest dog at Supadogs last week. He didn't bite me once in the rings and got 11 clear rounds, unfortuately we didn't get any placings but I don't care 11 clears has got to be something to shout about especially as it's half the amount in one week than he got in the whole of last year.
  19. Thank you I've don't it, stupidily I'd forgotten that I'd put a different display name. Wish they'd stop messing about the the b****y server.
  20. Thanks for replying. It's such a shame, I do hope they find him even if it just puts his original Mum and Dad's mind at rest.
  21. I really hope Spot is found but what happens if he is, does the person that has him now have to give him up or would his original owner take in to account his new home and life?
  22. That's brillient crazyspaniels well done. My brag is a bit special to me, Dudley won out of elementary yesterday. It's something I never thought would happen as he has been a bit 'difficult' in the past.
  23. Anyone going? I'll be there all week so perhaps we can get another meet up organised.
