I have some sort of lurgy and feel like poo. to everyone who needs them yesterday i bought an accounts and payroll package from SAGE and the manuals have confused me before i even start trying to figure it all out. I have no idea how i am going to learn sage before may when my financial year starts but it looks like i have a few late nights trying ahead of me

morning. total chaos outside. 3 roofers finishing the roof, 2 plasterers about to rend the entire gable end of the house, several labourers wandering round and customers trying to step over them to get to me. Plus i have a batleys delivery due anytime now and 2 members of staff down. Ive suggested to heather we do the helpless females bit and get these men to help us carry the rather large order into the kennels rmf i cleaned the cattery this morning and can now smell cat pizz which is not a nice smell

Id offer the same to anyone who needed help. Amber, im close to liverpool for sailing in, Im close to manchester for flying out. I live alone have a spare room, 2 greyhounds that get on with anything, one rottie who gets on with anything and one slightly dodgy but well trained rottie who can learn to get on with anything. If all else fails i have kennels for sleeping in at night if there was any worry about dogs not getting on. Its an open offer so anytime it gets too bad just come on over

Do you really want to stay on the island even if you are not with matty though? If you ever want to get off and do a flit with the dogs i have room here for you and them if its any use to you. Im really sad for you that he has taken to using such bullying tactics and even sad for matty that he doesnt seem to see that such tactics are merely pushing you away from him.

just finished the evening feeds and bedtimes for cats and dogs. We got a rather willfull young cocker in today who has yet to stop barking. I have the feeling she will carry on barking untill she looses her voice. Im just hoping that happens before around midnight when i go to bed

morning. fairly busy one here this mornig so far and 3 more dogs and 2 cats to go home and 2 dogs to come in. Im on auto pilot though and think i need several coffees before i can think. cant beleive the baby still hasnt come. checking in regularly and amazed that so far its not arrived while im offline coz i usually miss all the exciting stuff

Morning. cant beleive the baby didnt pop out while i was offline. Its usually a dead cert that anything exciting happens after i finish work my house is very dusty from roofers work, my eyes feel bitty and everywhere i go i can taste dust. Its peeing me off just a tad now.

morning. im defrosting downstairs now as upstairs is bliddy freezing due to no roof on it. Anne, last time i lost my passport i was able to go to the passport office in liverpool and hand in the forms etc and go back about 4pm to collect my new one. Maybe martin could fly out tomorrow instead. sorry i know you were looking forward to his visit but its not impossible yet. to every one who is ill or whose oh or kids are dripping snot. Im so glad i live alone reading those last few pages

my roofers arrived and are creating more noise and dust in one day than ive managed in 4 years. They were taking the chimney off and half of it just came down into the dining room

ealine sleep well nattyone hope the day isnt too bad and hubby is out of hospital soon morning. Its finally stopped raining and snowing and we have a bit of sunshine peeking through the clouds. Wondering if my roofers might even show up and do a bit today.

ive just taken Lucy up (vikinggirls lucy) and its not just warm, its bloody tropical in there. First change i think will be sleeping downstairs with the dogs as its a bit warmer than upstairs right now

morning. I was up half an hour earlier than my alarm wanted me up as the winds are rather high here and i can hear half my new roof, which isnt nailed down yet shifting its way round. After a few thumps and tiles sliding type noises i got up. If the wind keeps up i should be even more freezing today than i have been all week as im expecting more of the roof to come off

no problem alex glad they all went home happy after their day here. Timmy didnt have much option to play with me, the other 4 were mugging me and he joined in despite me being a total stranger. Plus the fact, twice in the day a total stranger had put a lead on him and taken him out for a walk so by the time he got home he will have been all strangered out and thinking what the hell mini blizzard happening here, feel free to drive over and collect it

morning. ive woken up to white everywhere. who ordered this batch of snow then coz i certainly didnt. ive woken up with half a cold... one nostril blocked, one eye streaming. very odd.

madmerles lovely dogs have just left the building Its bloody freezing to caleb and brenda for finding each other dawn. bloody scarey having a blow out no matter how many you have.

morning. my computer is on a go slow so ive given up trying to read back last nights rmf. Hope everyone is ok and for anyone who needs one. still only got half a roof as the builders have been rained off yet again. Its playing hell with my asthma for all the 300 years worth of dust falling out of the beams. I got a new student today. Apparently its a deal they do at school... she isnt exactly a star pupil so she agrees to try harder mon - thurs and she gets to work here friday. What a life!! If i didnt work hard mon - fri i got detentions or a slipper accross my arse. Anyway, she arrived at 8.30 dressed more like she was off clubbing rather than poo shovelling. I pointed out she couldnt work dressed like that and her dad told me no one had told her what to wear.. It was one of those moments where sarcasm was just bursting to come through but i managed a polite request to take her home and put jeans and wellies on and a warm coat as we still walk dogs in the rain. She has returned in some kind of skin tight trousers, wellies and a very clean looking coat. She got a bit jittery meeing my 4 dogs, funny enough the rotties were being well behaved but she froze when lee greyhound jumped up and licked her nose. Somehow i am having my doubts as to whether this one will make it past 1 shift

I would wait and see. She is an 'ex' for a reason and you are his 'current' for a reason. Today i have done a bit of kennel stuff, dashed out to the stationary shop as the till ran out of paper and wont work without it. I am now going to try and follow the manual for the till again (which still requires a degree in electrial engineering). I have till april to figure out how it all works as i need an easy way to seperate the boarding from the grooming from creche and deposits that all go to the bank in one long list. And the lovely people at the VAT department want to see a breakdown of funds this year bless em, coz its not a problem sorting that out as well as all the usual kennel stuff in peak times honest my afternoon will be spent dealing mostly with grooming customers who brought dogs in this morning and wanted to come back after lunch so they could do a bit of shopping etc in peace. Tonight i will slob infront of the tv chomping on raw veg and sugar free mints like i have all week.

afternoon. had a busy morning shovelling poo and scrubbing the kennel and again left member of staff in the office. I must be bloody mad i keep choosing shifts that involve me getting very cold and wet but hey i am hoping my fatty figure might shed a few lbs for all this physical work rather than answering phones and doing paperwork.
