Afternoon It snowed here a bit but hasn't stuck. It's raining now and freezing. Even Fergus was shivering when in garden earlier. Scoobs got in a muddle and had a bath so he's all snuggly dry and warm again as have heating on. First day of holibobs and have been mithered for 3 hours of it by work. Not no more. The phone is being switched off! So pleased Tilly went back home to her stew.

Afternoon. Slept in til 11! Whizzie it's your business and you can harp on about it as much as you like. You need to far and wide when it's new otherwise how are people supposed to know you exist. The cottage is in a cracking spot that is popular with holiday makers so you've chosen well. It will be ok I promise. Sorry Ruby & Archies walk was spoilt. Evening Sorry you didn't get anywhere with the consultant Griff Yes I had someone round to do our gutters just before xmas and he can naff off for any other handyman jobs because he kept on insisting he needed to speak to Martyn about the job itself, receiving the money and anything else about it. A few times I said it was me who had called him out and given him the job. At the end I insisted on handing MY money over to him and told him straight he wouldn't have been here if left to Martyn. It was ME who decided we needed the gutters doing and it was me paying him. It would be me who might come up with any further jobs. I asked him to come round and look at something else he then had the cheek to say he would speak to Martyn about it and sort something out with him. So I said well I wish you luck there cos he won't get anything sorted. I haven't seen or spoken to him since so it's his lookout and I'll find someone else. Chauvinist pig Feel pooped tonight. Have been studying like crazy the last week or so. Sent another assignment in at 2am yes i know but I wanted it out of the way. Arranged an urgent transport run last night. Overslept this morning and then worked late tonight.

Evening have just got home from seeing dad. Received a letter from stepmum this morning thanking us for the Xmas present. Dad told me she was now in bed with bronchitis so phoned to see if she needed anything doing while we were in the vicinity. Went to voice mail so left a message.

Issie Spinone was on thyroxine for years Eve with absolutely no problems I don't want to go on the meds cos I'm border line and hoping to get it back under control. If I was to start now I could be on it for 40 years. Glad you made it safe back to good old blighty Murtle. Mild here ain't it

Morning Could have been the first for January jangling cos I was the first to post lol. Spent last night looking for P45 to do my self assessment and still haven't found it so guess I had best go to work tomorrow to retrieve a copy. Have had a clear out of wardrobe this morning. Been stern with myself and given away stuff that was brand new but will never wear. Am going to finish off the personal paperwork today and get all the shredding done. Feels better and can see desk in evil room. So can start to clear that out and sort it now. Need to get out in garden to sort that too. Please don't rain today! Morning. I woke up at 10.10am UK time Mary and that was only cos dratted cough got me again. What is it with this damn thing? Sorry to hear you are still feeling poorly Alex. It does hang around. Have plenty of rest and don't worry about the house for now. It will only get yucky again. Maybe lady is having to meet up with the vet or go to see the horse Jazz. Working with a boss who has a few of them I know she has to disappear at odd times and all of a sudden as you can't book vets appointments & people to be around when you want them to be. Can whoever you are helping not bring the dog to you? I'm assuming that's what you're doing. I'm not sure you should be doing all of the things you are at the moment. You need to look after your own health. You have enough on with the dogs you have and your home. MrsB sorry to hear things have been so bad and hope you are getting a chink of light through now. I have been to many parts of Wales but not Pembrokeshire. The pics I've seen look lovely and I can understand you wanting to live there. I adore Scotland but seem to be very nesh and can't imagine being able to put up with the cold up there. Got tons of stuff done yesterday. Dug out and got rid of some stuff in the garden and chopped some stuff back. Know I shouldn't be doing it this time of year but it's been there for a long time so hopefully will be ok. It is unseasonably mild. Got rid of tons of paperwork no longer needed and filed loads more. Day 2 of that about to start.

To add insult her daughter in law always sends us a Christmas card without fail from the family and we didn't get one. This has been the most upsetting for me. I've now seen my arse with her to the point where I have her birthday present upstairs ready for end of January and she isn't getting that or a card. Afternoon. Think I've been in my own little world as don't seem to have been on here since before Crimbo. Meant to come and wish you all merry xmas Hope you all had a lovely day and are still enjoying some chilling out time Jazz hope Trudy gets on ok today and your tum is better Jayne & Alex hope the lurgy is going away. I had an annoying cough, sore throat one that is still lingering I'm sad to say. Keep feeling really dodgy at times then it blows over. Everyone I've spoken to who has had it says they have been the same. Lots of beautiful pics Take it easy Griff and if you have an inkling of something not being right please get ye to the docs Was shocked by Downton Abbey as didn't know anyone was leaving. Finding Emmerdale depressing and it's normally my fave soap. We've had a thoroughly chilled break from everything. Dad is ok and loved his pressie. The lads had a thorougly lovely Xmas day. Fergus adores his Kong Wubba. Wasn't sure he would like it but was wrong there. He has been a big soppy so and so. Bracken just wants to torment the others with his and Scoobs flung his little ball with arms and legs about in wild abandon and then decided ripping up loads of wrapping paper was the best fun. He was completely shattered the next day so we left him to sleep. They have had to share Dad's turkey. They did very well. Have passed final test there as wasn't sure I would be able to get through the other side of it without having to give in and have a turkey dinner. That was my ultimate favourite and I used to love the stew but nope I didn't fall off the wagon. Have been to work 10-2. What a waste of time that was. The phone didn't go once. So I had a good old clean up of everywhere as we don'tt have a cleaner. Have to say it was very pleasant there on my own. If only every working day was like it.

Afternoon So sorry to hear you're feeling low Alex. Is it cos you're due on too? Don't worry about your job. Your boss has already told you they are happy with your work and you will fly through the probationary period fine. Everyone has lots of stress and things on their mind at the moment. Chances are it was nothing to do with you at all. You've proven yourself time and time again. You need to start believing in yourself. You have achieved a lot and are a great asset to the company. Snow hope pain disappears soon. Murtle enjoy. I only have to have a glass of anything and that's me out for the count lol. Hope Archie is having a lunch break from the neighbourly watch job lol I'm filing loads of paperwork to make space on the dining table and am having mad cleaning sesh.
