  1. Evernink Alex that's shocking. Hope management clamp down on his behaviour quickly. That's a serious issue Hope Jazz has found her new car tonight and that Owl's lasts many long happy & cheap years. Looks good Murtle hope new trainers are comfy and don't any problems Suzeanna docs are out of order. Please do keep ringing them just incase Wonderful news re Ted. Hope he's home at the weekend Martyn has gone out for the evening. Doglets so far not bothered as we had an early tea and they helped me with mine. Such fickle creatures lol
  2. So sorry about your aunt Owl. Hope you get another car soon It's coming together well Marion. Hope they finish it quickly for you so Archibald can get his bits and bobs and routine back in order Jazz have you had any news about the house? Griff I'm amazed your jag started up. Sounding good Hope Ted has had his catheter removed and is getting ever better Ouch Suzeanna I have problems pulling up little trees that root in our garden. Maybe there is a lady the other end pulling for all she's worth Well kitchen fitter advised Martyn he would come back this Saturday coming and I've made damn sure he will be by contacting the installations dept of Homebase. I now have a time of between 9 and 10 to turn up and job will take 4 hours. He will try to get here for 9 as he now realises I have to go see my dad. It doesn't matter whether I'm sat on my bottom doing nothing all day. Kitchen was fitted 3 weeks ago and should have been done at the time. I pointed out we've paid for it, it's a legal requirement and should have been fitted immediately he did the job. Homebase installations made the mistake of telling me he said he is coming round this Saturday to which I said I'm making sure he is, I want a time as we are sick of re-arranging our lives around him. Homebase have been wonderful and I can't fault them but I'm not putting up with being messed around. We can't start work on the tiling and I have a whole heap of carp in my living room from the understairs cupboard cos he reckons he's putting it in there. I'm in no mood to be messed with today. Does anyone have any complaints they need addressing cos I'm your woman lol
  3. Evening all. Hope surgeon can sort your dads voice out Whizzie. Enjoy your time in Wales. Hoping it will do you some good being away Alex yes you do need to get away. Gives you a whole different perspective on things and good to just chill and not be rushing around Hope you get car back soon Owl And your mate can sorts yours Griff How is Ted today? Hope he is continuing to improve Glad floor is coming along Marion. We're still waiting for the kitchen fitter to come back and put our RCD kit in for the electrics. Considering it is supposed to be installed for legal reasons when moving electrics it's not clever. The kitchen was put in 3 weeks ago. He was supposed to come yesterday then phoned us when he was supposed to be here to say he didn't realise it was Fathers Day so couldn't come. Fed up of arranging my life around when he is supposed to be here for him not to turn up.
  4. Morning Think I nicked your sleep as despite Scoobs waking us up a few times I managed to get back off and finally woke up at 10 Hoping the sun puts his hat on later this afternoon so can do gardening
  5. Hope you got on ok Suzeanna Hugs Marion. Sorry Sybil is still not right. Hope you'll get her back quickly Martyn has nicked my car for a couple of weeks cos his failed the mot. They had better get it fixed quickly cos mine is due mot beginning of July. They're currently awaiting parts from Citroen that take a couple of weeks. Pleased to hear Ted is improving. Good lad.
  6. That's a lovely pic of the little chap. Griff fess up you've not had a wash have you Will be thinking of you Jazz and hoping for all the very best
  7. Hope the feeling has worn off Suzeanna Everything cross Jazz What a pain Marion Alex so I have you to blame for the downpours today. Tut. This is worth a listen. Made me chortle. Keep listening to the end https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152449055963840
  8. oh heck we'll have to be all pc now we have an oompah loompah amongst us Marion you don't do things by half do you. By eck it's gone hot again out there. Went out with Bracken in a sweatshirt and coat and have come back boiling
  9. Afternoon. Tis raining here and feeling chilly after the heatwave. Boo
  10. I use these for Scoobs as a comparison. http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product_group.asp?dept_id=112&pg_id=296 They are easy to wash and dry in no time at all. I have a few because our little chap is incontinent. He has wheels too for some occasions but he's a determined little beggar so is still trooping out on his walkeezee with his back legs up in the air when he can't be bothered. For some dogs even if they aren't mobile it isn't the end and Scoobs has always kept cheerful and just got on with it. I have everything crossed that your little fella will get back on his pins.
  11. Have been to see Dad. We were all sat out in the garden which was nice. Met some more of the inmates. Managed to do a load of gardening this morning and a bit tonight Happy anniversary Sophie
  12. Why won't your insurance cough up for the whole thing? Hoping there are signs of improvement over the weekend
  13. You have my sympathies Marion. Hope work is done as quickly and cleanly as poss. Bloke came back on Wednesday night to finish off boiler bits and bobs. Kitchen fitter still has to come back and fit an RCD kit for the electrics. But at least now I can start piecing my house back together again. Have done loads in the garden but still so much to do. It's boiling here and wonderful Everything is so much easier in this weather Hope it goes ok Jazz. Sorry I was snoring when I was sposed to be thinking of you Sorry car still out of action Owl
  14. Best of luck Murtle Hope things don't get too bad Jazz Oh this weather is so lovely. Have cleared huge bed in garden so can put some plants out. I bought said plants for a completely different area. Hey ho. I've been bitten on me bum by something whilst out there. It's not on is it
  15. Oh that's wonderful news. Congratulations Loo Best of luck Suzeanna & Jazz Erm now you're asking Alex. Let me see - red Verbena, Delfiniums, Grannys bonnets (Aquilega one of my faves), bacopa, a type of spiraea I've not come across before has lovely leaves Snow something, a Cordyline which is brown and green to make a centrepiece out what to the rest of our bit of the close is their front but is our back, Blue nemesia, 2 Hebes, 2 Eurphorbia, 2 Penstemon
  16. Oh Liz I'm so sorry. Hope hosp can get him comfortable
  17. Sorry to hear that Jazz. Hope they can get you sorted quickly
  18. Evening Good news re Ted. Onwards and upwards lad. Morphine is weird stuff so hope he flourishes once he's off that. Having had a big op he could well feel dizzy and disorientating at first so am not surprised he's been off his pins. Anaesthetic can take quite a while to clear your system too. Glad you've got some contracts agreed Alex. Hope the others sail through quickly to ease your workload and stress Sorry to hear there are some car troubles. Take them for granted til they go wrong then they're a nightmare Hope the building work goes quickly and smoothly for you Marion. Larfing that people don't believe you re the cows. Great news re Wagtails Whizzie. They will come back or may book for another date soon. Bought some plants and shrubs yesterday in an effort to make more of the garden and inject some more colour into it.
  19. Morning Lots to do in garden today while weather is holding out Pleased you're getting sorted out at long last Jazz Sounds encouraging news for Ted. Ouch Murtle remember the sting of that from my youth
  20. Morning folks. Glad the op went well Jayne. Weather is supposed to be good this weekend which I'm really glad of as have so much that needs doing outside. House is getting me down as the whole thing is in such a chaotic mess. The blokes are supposed to be finishing their work today. I really hope they do. Kitchen fitter is fitting an RCD kit for the electrics as he had to move a socket last week and the chap is fitting new boiler to replace the old knackered one that was condemned.
  21. Everything crossed they get it all and Ted will be fine hugs x We have all just got thoroughly soaked but are now drying off. Found another new walk I wasn't aware of. That's 2 I've found in the last week or so. Have only lived here 15 years lol
  22. Sounds fun Jayne. Glad walk made you feel better San. Sandy is adorable Got soaked in garden cutting grass and de-nettling/weeding. Carried on and got an area cleared. Only came across 2 frogs today. Came in and had a shower to warm and dry off. Have been cleaning more stuff to put back into kitchen. I have taken pics. Don't know where the doo da is that puts them onto comp.
  23. Oh bless her. Fab pics of lovely girl
  24. Glad Trudy is ok Good you've managed to sit out Griff. How is your cousin getting on? Sorry you have to have a difficult conversation with your mum Brilliant Marion Hope you're feeling better Alex I slept for 10 hours solid last night. Have cleaned kitchen and been doing gardening. So much to do out there. Fergus has been assisting with both. Scoobs is catching up on the many z's he missed last week while man making noise and disturbing him was here. Bracken is pottering about and every so often being told not to do things
