  1. Wonderful news. Congratulations Murtle Jazz I hope they get it fixed soon as it's the last thing you need with your chest Glad you're getting back to normal Marion. Must have been like the old days ooh look a telly lol Fingers crossed Charlie improves. So worrying for you all My 3 are 9, 11 & 15 ish now Fergus is doing amazingly well and is very very happy and giddy. He seems to be telling the whole world just how wonderful it is to be alive and he's ok. Wonder none of you have heard him. My lovely new neighbour was asking how he was today as we bumped into her with him when he wasn't looking clever. She has a Mastiff and a Rottie and we're getting on like a house on fire. Thanks so much for the well wishes.
  2. Hugs Griff Alex I'm so so sorry We thought we were losing Fergus and reading through wondered if they both had the same thing. I still don't know what caused him to be so violently ill. Vets told us later they thought he wouldn't make it through Tuesday evening. But he hung on in there and has come out the other side. He was receiving Reiki and I'm convinced that helped him. It certainly relaxed him when he was all tensed up.
  3. Sorry not been around. Fergus is very poorly at the moment and we're not sure what the matter is. He had dreadful sickness and diarrhoea yesterday complete with blood pouring out of his bum. Was on a drip last night and has been all day. Back home now as we feel he's happier here and they have no-one at the surgery to keep an eye on impatients over night. If anyone belongs to the distance healing network or can send him some Reiki I'd really appreciate it as the vets and us are worried about him. He's had an xray and some tests today and results have come back ok. It's probably a very nasty bout of gastro enteritis but they just don't know and he looks shocking
  4. Assignment done. Fridge cleaned. Oven & grill cleaned. I know how to live
  5. Don't envy you that. Hope the 4 weeks flies by for her and she recovers well I hope bride knew he had hygiene issues Marion lol. Hope Mia is soon back to herself. Fingers crossed Charlies vet visit goes well & Ted's too. Issie could get dizzy for quite a while after her episode. I had to keep her onlead and be there just incase she went to far over to one side as if she did that she would keel over. Remember guiding her on a straight path in the early days. We have a curve in our close that she struggled to get around without going dizzy and now Scoobs with his 2 front legs only finds it hard to get around too. Seems to give them an inbalance
  6. Oh the weather is a lot more manageable today. Hope we don't have thunder around our way as Scoobs doesn't like it and he's had enough to put up with thanks very much. None of us got many winks last night due to him being restless and it being way too hot. Did a bit of gardening yesterday and was sopping. Been out for my 9th run this morning. Have been doing it for 3 weeks. Snow I hope you're finding it easier today. It really isn't on to make people sit outside never mind having people standing up presenting in this weather. Even our cave with no windows and thick walls was boiling this week and I can at this time of year sit in the office with my fleece on. Sure your friend won't mind you asking to try her perfume Marion. I quite often like smells on other people that on me smell too overpowering. I still like White Musk from the Body Shop and got myself some of that for the first time in years. Doing assignment 3 of 8 today
  7. Have a little whiny chap on my hands so think a quiet day is in order. Jazz get your son to sort the shed out for you. You shouldn't be bothering with something like that in your condition
  8. Oh Alex was it the one on the roundabout with the BP petrol station - Oakwood Gate? That's where we get ours done and if you remember to give them the reminder card when you pay next year they'll knock £5 off for you. Pleased you've been offered another contract Murtle. Hope it turns out to be enjoyable for you How are you getting on after your op Jazz? Scoobs had a dental today and is having lots of zzzz on his duvet.
  9. Ello diaries are brilliant. Just hope my lot weren't listening Looking at cars today. Don't hold out much hope of finding one
  10. Enjoy Murtle Oh happy landings Jazz. Hope it soon feels like home Hope parents have had a word with themselves and you have had your BBQ Jayne Lots of numpties on the motorways today. Worst candidate being the utter fool who was stationary on the hard shoulder, who decided to set off again without indicating and pulled out with no speed at all. Woman in a minibus was in the same lane slammed on. We were in the next lane. Martyn braked to make room for her to pull out so she could get away. She slowed right down behind the prat in the car and they carried on like that. So we got the hell out of there.
  11. It's muchos scorchios here. Dragged myself out of bed to have a run and glad I did because it was the easiest yet, despite the heat. Amazing how quickly it becomes less of a struggle. Still stopping and starting and running the same patch but the stints are getting longer.Have had a shower so no need for fingers on noses. Doing loads of washing now
  12. Evening Hope the moves work out well Best of luck for the op Jazz Fan sounds great Marion. Bet Ruby will be glad of that when she's wallpapering too
  13. It's sweltering today. Felt it when out on run before 8am. Fingers crossed Charlie is improving. Our lot aren't being walked as much at the moment. Poor Scoobs has a very thick coat so has had me up quite a bit in the night keeping him cooled down. Hope move goes well Jazz. Hope car is a goodun Owl Griff hope you can work it out soon Migraines are such awful things. Hope the meds have helped Marion.
  14. I slept like a log last night having had 2 hours the night before. Hope you manage a goodun tonight It is the hottest it has been today me thinks. The agility looks like a lot of fun San but you wouldn't find me doing it in this heat lol Managed another run early this morning
  15. Oh very nice. Hope your lot are ok now Jazz. Glad you got your wallpaper sorted Marion Need to find a courier firm who may be able to delivery my parcels as royal mail are going to put me out of business with their prices.
  16. Aw congratulations Jayne Really pleased for Murray. The pressure on him. I've planted everything out today. I have a lot of purple/lilac going on this year.
  17. Has anyone heard from Suzeanna lately? Hope all is well
  18. Good gracious he won. Not really Owl lol.
  19. Sorry I think it could be me. Whenever I walk into a room when Murray is playing he does dreadfully so I'll keep out
  20. Can't imagine how hot they must be. Don't know how they can stand it
  21. Have mentioned Galaxy thanks ladies. Hope you enjoy your day despite her Murtle I must do some planting out today. Seem to spend most of my time hacking things down, weeding and cutting grass
  22. Thanks Alex. Not sure they're big enough. 2 Viz lay down in the back. We have suitcase, holdall big bag of food, loads of duvets and throws for scoobs cos he has accidents on them the whole time. We have bits stuffed down between front and back seats and I generally end up with things in the footwell with Scoobs on my lap still having accidents (yuck). We currently have a Citroen C5 estate with an amazing amount of space. We really wanted to keep it but know it's not at all sensible to. Just paid £700 on it to do with the suspension and feel need to get rid of it now before it starts waffling about any other catastrophes and having any.
  23. Great stuff. Martyn's car is about to go very expensive on us so we need to find something else. Big estate or 4 x 4 reliable enough to get us on our holibobs with the dogs all their stuff and a bit of our stuff.
  24. Rachel's raspberry yoghurt and raspberries is delish and the dogs agree. Have cut some grass.
