  1. I had an early hysterectomy and have been going through the menopause ever since, about 20 years altho it has almost tailed off now. I got every symptom possible to start with but it became easier over the years, but I still get hot flushes. Most people have it a lot easier and I hope that you are one of them x :flowers:

  2. I haven't been able to get on most of my favourite forums for a little while and it has been most annoying. Anybody that knows me also knows that I am not good at computers and they baffle me!! Well, a little while ago something popped up on my screen saying that my current programme(?) was out of date and click here  for the update. Of course I did as I was advised and everything changed on my computer. I couldn't find all my current favourites but old ones appeared that I hadn't used for ages, including this one! I had the old link for it. My computer savvy son was on holiday so it was very frustrating. He is back now and talked me through how to put it back how it should be. Am I the only computer illiterate person on here or does anyone else have these problems?

 I bet I am the only one! x

  3. we had a lovely time and I enjoyed doing the judging. Hayley and I didn't deliberately pick Oldies Club dogs to win,we just thought that they were the best.  Some of the classes were HUGE,bigger than I have judged before,so it was hard to pick out just 6 dogs as there were some fantastic dogs there.

Amy did a marvellous job and was like a busy little little bee buzzing from place to place with so much energy. In fact I think everybody did a great job,I hope a good amount was raised.x

  4. I think all of us can sense/feel our lost loved ones but being adults we doubt it or don't pick up on it. We dismiss it as imagination. I think children just accept it.

I looked after a little boy called Jack and when he was younger he would often look up and wave at the baby. Of course I saw no baby but he definately did.

My aunt was a spiritualist and when she died my youngest daughter used to say that silver auntie used to come and wave to her as she was falling asleep. I asked her why she called her silver auntie and she said it was because she was "silver shiny all round her".

I think your little boy sounds delightful and perhaps you could tell him that if his granma has the strength she might visit him too once she passes. :GroupHug: for you and your mum x

  5. what a lucky escape and bless that lovely staffie. You can't blame the mastiff tho,it had obviously been trained to attack. I wonder what the thugs would have felt if the dog had killed the baby and they had been done for murder. Not so funny then for them, the baby or the mastiff which would be pts!! it makes me sick !! x

  6. An older couple were lying in bed one night. The husband was falling asleep but the wife was in a romantic mood and wanted to talk. She said: "You used to hold my hand when we were courting." Wearily he reached across, held her hand for a second and tried to get back to sleep. A few moments later she said: "Then you used to kiss me." Mildly irritated, he reached across, gave her a peck on the cheek and settled down to sleep..

Thirty seconds later she said: "Then you used to bite my Neck." Angrily, he threw back the bed clothes and got out of bed. "Where are you going?" she asked.

    "To get my teeth!"
