  1. Well....there are always the services of a prostitute if its just for sex. I would think men may well start off with the offer of free sex and saving a few quid .

I think its the dishonesty and theft of someones life that people mostly object to. When you have built a life and invested in it.

  2. I agree with everthing Bebe said.

I believe men are just as bad as women, apparently it takes two to tango, so the saying goes.

I appreciate most on here are indeed women and have expressed their opinions I may as well go ahead and express mine.

There are some very good points on here, and just to let you know I don't speak for men on this subject, just this man.

Cheating is wrong, it's destructive, deceitful and damaging so who is to blame, the single person or the attached one, in my eyes both are to blame, however if the married one lies about their status then quite possible all the blame lies there, at least for a while, if the singleton carrys on then guilt by association seems appropriate.

There have been lots of time when I have been in relationships it has been, quite literally 'offered to me on a plate' and not once did I even think about it for a second. I don't profess to have the moral high ground or consider myself whiter than white, it's just that when I am with someone then I am with someone, end of story.

Maybe it's my upbringing and the influence my parents had and still have on my life to this day, who knows !!!

Some lines you cross, some you don't and this is one of them (for me anyway)..

What a rare man you are :)

  3. I think we expect women to be kindred spirits against the enemy called man. When we find out that the women are low lifes and would lie in the gutter to have sex we realise that these women place no value on us or our sacred relationships. Therefore they are fair game for bringing lives to the gutter with them.

It must be ten times as bad when there are children involved because partner and slut are dragging the children of the relationship to the gutter as well. You show me one self respecting woman who will allow that to happen to her family without both slut and partner paying for it.

  4. I dont think its an affair either.

She has done everything properly and had decided to end the relationship before she met this person,is responsible enough to have told the partner and is waiting untill the separation before moving into another relationship.

I can think of nothing more harmful to children than to know one parent is "at it" and to feel thier loyalty to the other parent. Children should not be placed in this situation and why should the loyal ex partner have to suffer the pain of seperation plus watch a disloyal partner canoodling with a new partner.

It kind of negates the whole previous relationship as trivial which must do untold harm to children and ex partner.

If someone is low life enough to be involved in affairs or running off they should take responsibility for the harm to children and partners.

I have a friend in a similar situation to your friend Melp and that person has already found out that the new person isnt what they said. However because my friend did everything in the correct sequence it has limited harm. The first relationship with children had finished so there isnt all the other anguish of disloyalty and guilt to contend with.

  5. Excellent idea  Melps can phone KathyW and sing down the phone to her

    Kathyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Kathyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    or however it goes

Oh, here you go, here's the words

Out on the wiley, windy moors

Wed roll and fall in green.

You had a temper like my jealousy:

    Too hot, too greedy.

    How could you leave me,

When I needed to possess you?

I hated you. I loved you, too.

    Bad dreams in the night.

They told me I was going to lose the fight,

    Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering

    Wuthering heights.

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

Ooh, it gets dark! it gets lonely,

On the other side from you.

I pine a lot. I find the lot

    Falls through without you.

    Im coming back, love.

    Cruel heathcliff, my one dream,

    My only master.

Too long I roam in the night.

Im coming back to his side, to put it right.

Im coming home to wuthering, wuthering,

    Wuthering heights,

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

    Ooh! let me have it.

Let me grab your soul away.

    Ooh! let me have it.

Let me grab your soul away.

    You know its me--cathy!

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Let me in-a-your window.

    Heathcliff, its me--cathy.

    Come home. Im so cold!

    Sorry Kathy :flowers:

I know someone who thinks this is thier own song due to unrequited love. :biglaugh:

They may well want a copy

  6.

I awoke at 5am this morning with a certain song in my head that was performed by Melp on here yesterday.

I am just at the point now of choosing between a hosepipe or a Welsh sight seeing tea towel to penatrate one ear and come out the other in an attempt to remove the sooooonnnnngggg. I am concerned that the noise of the hosepipe water rushing may simply act to further attach the noise in my head as it was the song from Tiiiiiitaaaaaaniiiiiic.

I would suggest that any released CD should come with a warning on the addictiveness of Meeeeelps siiiingiiing .

Im now looking for a more attractive tea towel

  7. Same here Im afraid.

The dog was local and on its home ground with its owner. Your daughter would have hugged him regardless of where the dog was so the beach isnt an issue.

We are mainly horses and livestock here and I do not ever put our address or allow people to turn up.

We have dogs that are not friendly and we protect THEM

Always people wander towards horses or dogs and when I say dont they always tell me they are good with horses /dogs.One of our horses is from Arizona and will kick bite AND strike so it doesnt matter HOW good you are with horses/dogs.

Given that the dog was just a pet keeping up with his owner I think you should just put it down to experience. The dog got frightened because your daughter had too much confidence and the dog just wanted his mum. He didnt chase your daughter.

Given the present climate its easy to see why people suddenly look at things differently but be the bigger person and just let sleeping dogs lie.

Your daughter learnt a valuable lesson that could someday save her from something far worse. :GroupHug:

  8. I was uncomfortable with the whole thing.

Yes he was a dictator and he who fights by the sword should die by the sword .

Surely now Blair and Bush should be tried the same way because as much as we only see what our press and governments allow us to see the Iraqis and all other Arab countries will see the torture and death caused by the west.

It doesnt mean anyones more right or more wrong but that death is a terrible thing especially an execution.

It would not have disturbed me as much had saddam been tried for an individual child murder because I would have been swayed by revenge for a child and protection of others in the future.

What came accross to me more strongly was the executioners were no different to the arabic killings of hostages the west has condemmed in the past only this time the West said it was ok because they justified it

  9. Dogs that dont find homes stay because they are not actually looking.

When a dog (or horse) has found the right home they lower thier head and stare into the eyes of thier person asking,"are you my person" before transmitting mental pictures of treats, comfy beds etc.

They become non attractive to anyone looking at them because they have switched off the people searching antenae.

They are the ones to be found curled up asleep somewhere inobtrusive, just like you do in your own home. All the lunatics are at the front searching for thier new home whilst certain animals have made themselves comfy because thier search is over.

He was a clever little dog because he knew he was home. They always know too when thier time is up because they seem to wander about taking a last look.He was happy and loved and probably for the first time in his life he had everything a dog could want.

Dont feel sad because every one of us has our allotted time on earth.he was lucky because he made it home for a great last bit of his life. many dogs dont :flowers:

  10. But do you think it's acceptable to see brightly coloured bras through flimsy school shirts, for example?

And are bum freezer thongs appropriate, especially when worn with very short skirts?

    There's underwear and underwear.

    Pam

I agree it looks horrendous on teachers.

Im up for seeing bronzed male gym teachers in shorts though.

  11. Bugging bebe on ear about ear problem involving fings in her ear.

Not that she could ear you cos obviously if she had BIG fings in ear ears crawling about then all she could ear would be a scrunching sound akin to a BBC wild life programme but as Bebe says she has GNAT had a orifice catastrophy nor wood she like it mentioned on ear that she has.

Ear and now is far more important

  12. I dont care what flavour because I just love peeling the cakey bit away from the jelly. I nibble all the chocolate off and then dissolve the jelly on my tongue.

For me the physical act of this ritual is everyfink :flowers:

The ONLY person I share jaffa cakes with is Ferguson who is a very ancient toothless horse. :)

  13. Called Sunny.

She had a terrible time and was left in a house to die alongside an old Airdale. The RSPCA were heavily involved as was the vet so there is an entire medical history etc. I also have a letter signing her over to me so I am the legal owner.

I accepted an "offer of help" for this girl but have since had concerns which have led to the police investigating her whereabouts. She may be in Devon but the police are persuing this line of enquiry.

Any info will be treated in confidence as the main concern is simply her welfare and where she has ended up.

the incident/ref number is 29523/9 should you want to pass anything directly to the police.

    my number is 08712300873.

Still Missing and may have been rehomed so please consider all Danes of a different name. Vets photos available for ID

  14. Im a Jaffa virgin but yesterday I bought my first box of Jaffa mishapes.

Having watched these secret forums and the "things you all do" I felt like I wanted to belong.

Can anyone help me with the etiquette and terminology. Is there a "safe" word when I need to stop gorging on Jaffa cakes and someone removes the box from my face ?
