  2. Lovely grass growing at last. It takes so much pressure off when there is green stuff to eat. You can feed all the hay you like but only green stuff keeps weight on

If it rains at night only I will be very happy as I have appointments for horses to be viewed next week plus horses going to new homes.

Hello to everyone, Have a great time Sam and Phebe I hope whispers good with your new visitors !

  3. Bugger me I appear to be flying to Australia tomorrow for a minimum of 3 months laugh.gif and as per usual am not packed !

Mark is going to come and see me for a few weeks which is very exciting but even with all my other overseas travel this is still the longest I will ever have been away from home in one trip and I do miss my family when I am away mecry.gifbut its where the work is and I am bloody lucky to have a job even if its 11 thousand miles away

You are very brave. I dunno if I would be as resolute as you are to it but fair play to you.

  4. so .... this morning I ring for an appointment at the doctors, got one for 2 hours later .....

just got a call from my doctor, would you like me to fill this form in on the phone for occupational health to see you, and ill get it sent off, so we do that ..

    5 MINUTES LATER.........

occupational health rings ..... can I come THIS THURSDAY to see you

now, I dont know about you, but this seems just too easy ......

Quite worrying....... Do you have Dutch Elm disease or something you dont know about ?

I misread the sentence online banking as I was transfixed by Amy's cakes and read it as online baking. I was thinking how cool that was till it dawned.

  5. I have watched the news today about Bin Laden and I was unsettled by the celebrations and I fear that as a dead Martyr he will continue to influence his followers and the cycle of violence will escalate

As many of you remember I have seen first hand how that level of hate can be transferred from thought and word into deed , I don't know what the answers are but I know it takes years to find peace after your life is touched by such violence

    I absolutely agree

  6. I used to really like MSE, I hadn't used it for a while and have been back on there recently...I don't like it now :mecry:

However some of the boards really show what a me me me society we live in

They have just informed me account is now active. I guess they googled me and found I was real. This reverse snobbery is draining. Im on the Frugal challenge if anyone wants a laugh before I get banned again

  7. Ive been banned from the Money making expert forums. apparently Im promoting a blog and trade mark with my user name. Whats it called ?

    Lady Lesley

Im now a fecking trade mark. Stupid people The worst bit is they gave me that name after they said I couldnt use Trallwm farm

  8. Walking over the fields the day before yesterday Mungo picked up a rabbit carcase (head, legs spine and fur) probably left by a fox. I managed to chase him down and make him wait while I took it from him - by the ear - and threw it in the hedge.

Yesterday, I was not so fast and he hadn't been fed. He found another one and ate it, on the run. I didn't feed him last night and only gave him a small meal this morning. Haven't picked up anything yet - from either end.

Anyone got any experience or observations on this ?

Yeah...To be fair it was Easter and they were probably easter bunnies. Other than worms I dont suppose he will suffer any ill effects. I dread to think what my lot eat when Im not looking.

  9. Grrrr I want to go shopping (just food) and I've got to wait in for delivery of my Easyo Yoghurt and a CD from Amazon. Tracking says they are both out for delivery so I'll just have to be patient.

Guess I'll go clean the bathroom. Happy Day

Actually its quite good 'cos DB is away for the day - ah peace!!

Have you tried the easiyo ice cream mix ? Ive just bought a ready steady junior ice cream maker for 50p so my grandaughter can make her own Ice cream and I wondered if the easiyo mix is nice. We are using Angel delight presently !

  10. :wavey:

:GroupHug: Alex :GroupHug: Well done :flowers:

I *think* I might have got a place on a teaching assistant course . The college have asked me to call in tomorrow. If I really do have to get a proper job, one with school holidays off would be good  .

    Good for you :flowers:

Alex Im gonna have to drive up and sort this bloke out arnt I  What if I hang on his leg in the car park ? Do you think he could convince his boss he doesnt know me. I could bring two small children and claim he is late with child support !

  11. OH's elder brother phoned last night, to say the middle brother's condition (he has cancer) has dramatically worsened and though he was taken to hospital for a couple of days, they've sent him home, with nurses and carers in place as there is nothing more they can do for him. :mecry: My OH and his other brother are both going down to see him tomorrow, to say goodbye. It's so sad, he was only 60 the beginning of December, and had so many plans now he's retired.

How terribly tragic. I hope they all have a lovely day together.

Totally random. Im being stared at by a very cross Amazon parrot

  12. Daisy would like to point out that she is the most unphotogenic dog ever - and this shot was a complete and utter fluke by her Mummy.

However, bowing to popular demand, and, just so that you can repeat your posts all over again elsewhere, I will be raiding Photobucket later to show off my little girlie.

By the way Trallwm Farm, I think Daisy and you may have one or two things in common ............

Why ....does she express a desire to bury bodies in the garden

  13. According to Superscrimper woman, you shove a cheapo bottle down the bog and leave it overnight and it cleans the loo.

Id like to point out it wasnt me that suggested it !

I would be using flat coke to make a wonderful barbecue sauce for pork or chicken.

Fizzy coke is good for marinating in cos it breaks down tissue. Im experimenting if its possible to exspose of a body this way but I dont allow tupperware in the house and my wine tubs are full.

By the way Ive put the banana wine recipe on my scrimping and scrumping word press blog for those that asked but Channel 4 are putting up a shorter version on their Scrimpers site

  14. I need to know which programme Trallwn Farm was on this time. I obviously missed the build up somewhere in the RMFs!

Jazz, that is one cute puppy who has her paws seriously under the table - or on the sofa!

Tis Daisy's gotcha day today - she always misses out on these a bit 'cause she arrived but was only passing through ........... five years ago.

I dont do Collies but this one is stunning. I "could" be converted just dont tell Mr Bojangles.

Im getting dissolusioned with the series. It started off as a serious look at money saving for families struggling. now as they keep re editing its going towards photo snaps of me lobbing things in for no apparent reason. People dont get that during the war people really struggled and now its heading back that way. Mixing in a handful of porridge oats into mince will bulk it up to give you enough to feed more people or to make two days meals. If you have no money that makes a big difference to your families well being.

Its superscrimpers on channel4 wed 8.30 for anyone so inclined to watch it
