  1. I am so glad this working week is over. Had so much to do that even though I went in early, I came home, let the dogs out and fed them & then went back for a couple of hours. At least I have Monday off so only a 3 day week next week.

  2. Evening :wavey: Another busy start to the working week. Minor excitement this morning though as Kirsty and Phil from Location, Location, Location were filming at the hotel. I'm sure that Phil must be glad he doesn't have much hair - the crew were looking very windswept when I saw them filming outside

  3. Oodles of positive thoughts for Henry and Patchy :GroupHug:

RMF: Soggy Saturday here  We're meeting our friend Tracey and her 4 Labs later for a walk. Sir H will be overjoyed to see his Lucy - the pair of them won't walk but will have some quality time together in Tracey's van while the rest of us walk

  4. Hello :wavey: Not been around much - work is stupidly busy at the moment, plus my manager is off sick so I'm the only full time person in the office. Got lots of golf groups in that need looking after and next week won't be much better as some days I've got 3 groups each day  Still love the job - just wish I had time to stop and think some days

Got myself a nice little booking for September  Mindy's work away weekend and I'll get to have Toby and Beenz stay here while Mindy is living it up in the hotel  We'll sort out visiting rights

Saw Helen's little embarassing moment  :flowers:

:GroupHug: 's for everyone who needs one :flowers:

  5. Missy had her surgery and is doing fine had TTA and also some trimming to the cartlidge that in the vets words were "mashed" so he thinks we will see a huge change now as this would be very painful for her even tho she has never shown it! my very brave girl x

Aww, bless her. Hope Missy has a speedy recovery :flowers:

RMF: Busy day of catching up with everything. Sofy and Wiggle slept most of the day, worn out after Crufts

Got lots done today & even managed to get the grass cut. Sorted Wiggle's blog, including this photo

  6. That is amazing Sam but fantastic that Dogstar are able to help :flowers:

Talking of Dogstar, I have a little donation cheque to send to you. A very lovely lady who's followed Wiggle's blog sent him a letter via one of our helpers. She'd been in touch a few times and we've swapped emails etc and she'd talked about wanting to adopt a Labrador but had been unwell. The envelope passed on to me yesterday had a card to Wiggle, a donation to Lab Rescue and also a cheque made out to Dogstar

I was so chuffed, it was such a lovely gesture and goes to show how fantastic the internet is - she said she felt reading Wiggle's blog "was liking sharing the life of a dog of my own" and now she has adopted a lovely Labrador herself

I'll send the cheque on to you with her details

  7. Home from Crufts. Had a fantastic day, loads and loads of visitors to our stand, gave out lots of information, Wiggle and Sofy had their photo taken with Linda Barker (interior designer bird off the telly) who was lovely.

Wiggle and Sofy were absolute stars, as were Max, Bess, Bella and Berkley who helped out too. And lovely, lovely Barney, belonging to Helen Teg

We're all worn out but it was definitely worth the long day
