RMF: I am cold and have just put a long sleeved top on. I also found £10 in my waterproof coat which I had on for the first time since May. I'm just off to the walk in centre with OH, so the £10 should pay for his prescription, if he needs one. Fingers crossed that everything will be ok for you

hi everyone, I have neglected the internet lately as I am stiill fitting my kitchen. Who's idea was it to choose the hottest, muggiest weekend of the year to put the cupboards and worktops in? phew, it's been hot, which as slowed things a little. It is looking good though, so shouldn't be too long before it's finished. Hope everyone's ok.

Hello Haven't been around for a while, still busy with kitchen renovations, also the disciplinary thing I was involved with a while back reared it's ugly head again. The man who got a written warning because of his behaviour appealed against the decision and I was summoned to give my account again. There was an agonising few days, but the decision was upheld. Phew! Hope that's the end of it now. And finally, our very best friends who are selling up because the husband had MS have finally sold and are moving tomorrow We are going out for a meal with them tonight, then tomorrow they are off for a new life on the west coast of Scotland. I wish them well, but I will miss them loads. Haven't checked back yet, so to all who need them.

The plumber is here. There is much noise coming from downstairs I think I need to go out and not come back until it's all done. I may be some time. to everyone who needs them. It has been a very sad week on here.

I'm so bad at finding the right thing to say, but I want you to know that you didn't let him down. The poor lad has just been so badly damaged that it would take a miracle to get over it. I must admit that I had a soft spot for Merlin, and my heart goes out to you , Claire, and of course the lovely lad himself.

My friends husband has just arrived to start decorating the kicthen. He talks and talks, so I'm keeping out of the way. I hope he works as hard as his tongue does. RMF: The bbc were asking people not to take their dogs to the royal Show, which is on in Warwickshire this week. Some total idiot left their dog in a car today and it died!

I watched it, great to see someone just having fun, and winning. hi

oh no, that's so sad RMF: The plumber was late because he forgot he was supposed to come here and we had to phone him several times. So we lost half a day of working on the kitchen. And we have spent a very hot afternoon trying to catch up. On the plus side, I'm off to have a shower now cos we're going out to dinner with some friends.
