It's really cold out this morning so I fluffed up the piggies bedding & provided brekkie & fresh apple/carrot so if I listen really carefully I can hear them cooing & tribble-ing outside the window. Happy piggies are lovely

now I don't want to scare anyone.. but.... ummm

Poor Ulrich got nipped by Loki last night on the ear. Course it's right on the tip and so every time he shakes his head the wound opens again & sprays blood everywhere. It's too little to stitch and I've no superglue in the house. I've got him bandaged up & we'll take a trip to the vet as soon as they open. In the meantime - anyone got any good tips on how to keep an ear wound from reopening?

We share our house with: Yama - dane Ulrich - dane BooMonster - hairy lurcher type Loki - Border Collie Furball, JD, Meiko, Homer, Luci, Mintoe & Sufi - house cats & 6 'strayed domestic' cats. We also have 1 jird, 1 jerboa, 10 gerbils, 6 rabbits, 5 guinea pigs. The small animal count changes on a day to day basis as I run as small rescue from my home.
