Angel would like a home that would give her the love and attention she deserves. She enjoys long active walks but is also happy to curl up next to you on the sofa in the evening. She is fine being left and has no separation issues but is like a little shadow given half the chance, she is very loyal. She gets on great with my 2 and has travelled well in the car, she is obedient and well mannered and gives you a wonderful smile when she greets you.

I swear Malcom is getting younger, he seemed to have a marvellous time and even kept his Mum on her toes by going missing a few times lol

I did mine at REASEHEATH COLLEGE in Nantwich last Autumn. I find I need to get out of the house and do my learning in the classroom, I would never have the self discipline for a correspondence course Dogs Trust in Merseyside also do some good seminars. Its good to go and see as many experts as you can and its amazing how techniques for changing behaviour can vary

I had a call from someone I know yesterday about a dog she would like me to find a home for, his name is Rio and here is what she wrote in her email:
I met this dog when I went to pick up her other dog Daisy and he is very friendly and happy. I think he has beautiful eyes and he looks full of fun ;DHi Caroline - this is Rio - he is a very friendly dog with no nerves what so ever - he turned three in March of this year - he is very good with other greyhounds and my - he is great with children - he loves a fuss and a cuddle and loves to sunbathe - he is black with a white chest and flecks of white through his coat - i have had him for five months to try to nurse him back from a ligament injury - he is sound now but not good enough to race any more as i think the injury would recur - he has been treated by my vet and is healthy in all other ways - he has never run ngrc and came from flapping people in Scotland - again thank you for helping me out - i like to try and do the right things by my greyhounds when they finish racingRio needs a foster or permanent home.

I have managed to find Susan a rescue space with GRWE so as of Monday she will be in her care and safe
-
Susan is a small, very pretty greyhound bitch who will be 2 at the end of July. She has a wonderful temperament and is full of beans, she will make someone a wonderful pet. Susan is great with other dogs and so far has ignored small dogs whilst on lead. She still has to be cat tested. Susan is in the Chester area and is looking for a foster or permanent home.
She loves giving kisses

I went to see Duncan tonight and took him on a short walk. He is living on a farm with 12 other dogs, 5 of which are in kennels. He is fantastic with the fosterers 2 children and great with their 2 small dogs. I will cat test him next week but I'm pretty certain he will be cat detrainable
-
I went to pick up Duncan yesterday and took him to his foster home in Chester, he is an absolute babe I will be visiting him regularly and taking him for walks to assess him but on first impressions he is a dog in a million and I can't see him waiting long He greeted the other dogs with a lovely waggy tail and took everything in his stride and loves being around people. Here are the pictures of him arriving at his new foster home.
isn't he handsome
more updates will follow shortly

When I opened the kitchen door she went straight to the bone and huffed and puffed and patrolled the garden, had a wee and came back to the bone and stood over it. As it was early I wanted her in so called her which she ignored so I went up to her to shoo her in and growling and snarling she warned me off. Thinking this isn't like her I went to pick up the bone and she did it again so to get her away from the bone and in the house I threw a glass of water over her. I am shocked to the core and will never forget the look of pure anger on her face.
Hmm, having read this a few times I'm just wondering if she was actually guarding the bone from 'you'. Does she usually get you up at 4am for a wee? The fact that she patrolled the garden first and had a wee before standing over the bone could mean that there may have been another animal lurking. Its just a thought but could explain her out of character behaviour

Rebel is a 4 year old black greyhound. I have been told by his owners that unfortunately Rebel doesn't get on too well with other dogs regardless of breed. Now this is possibly something that could be remedied with the right knowledge and commitment. Rebel is ideally looking for a dedicated foster home to spend some time helping him adapt to life as a pet and to socialise him. If anyone can help Rebel find a new home please pm me. Rebel will be fostered through GREYHOUNDS 4 U
-
Howler is a 3 1/2 year old black and white dog. He is good with other greyhounds but hasn't had the opportunity to socialise with other breeds. Howler is looking for a foster home but would be considered for the right permanent home If you are interested in Howler please pm me. Howler will be fostered through GREYHOUNDS 4 U
