Lucy is now with us as she was getting stressed in her current foster home due to new fosters coming into the house They did a wonderful job nursing her back to health after her broken leg and it broke their hearts to let her go. Thank you Suzanne and Kevin
She has been with us a week now and is settling in just fine She is still on lead walks only but has had a few short blasts around the garden.
Isn't she pretty

so very sorry

Thank you Sarah for offering a rescue space to Dylan you're a star.
I can understand everyone being angry, a rescue not taking a dog back really isn't on. At the moment though I'm trying to stay neutral and get Dylan out of danger
I'm going to start a new thread to try and set up a transpport run for early next week.

Its a very small independant rescue and they are full to busting with no funds

URGENT
Dylan was rehomed via a rescue a few months ago after many months in foster care to an elderly gentleman. Unfortunatley his new owner has been rushed into hospital and Dylan has been left home alone with only the owners brother popping in to feed him and let him out. Dylan will be taken to the pound tomorrow as his owners brother cannot cope As he is not a stray there is a possibility that either they won't take him or he will be pts right away.
Dylan suffers from seperation anxiety but is ok to be left for short spells, he is also very vocal so needs a patient person who can train him and correct his behaviour. Dylan also dislikes cats and would be better in a home with children over the age of 13 but could live with another dog. Dylan, apart from his barking, is well behaved, sits, offers paw, lies down on command is a good house dog, clean and not destructive and is neutered and microchipped.

You'd think at his age he'd know better

My vets wife had this little chap brought to her yesterday after he had been hit by a car on the A56 Warrington Road. He is possibly a worker as he is very fit and lean. He has damage to both ears and rub marks on his nose, this could be due to working or trying to escape on a regular basis. He appears to be ok after his accident and is spending the weekend at the vets surgery but will be going with the dog warden on Monday to do his 7 days He is not chipped and details have been forwarded to Dog Lost.

I might know of a house in Liverpool, would it be too far for her to travel?

A week last Sunday Dotty went to the beach for the first time. She got on great with the 18 other dogs we went with :o 4 of which were JRTs :-D She was spayed last Thursday and has recovered really well.

An update on Dotty:
Dotty is doing really well and has taken to living in a house like she has always been here. She is great with other dogs and has met some small dogs whilst on walks no problem (She still has to be tested with cats). This week she has been going off lead briefly and her recall is pretty good.
Here are some pictures of our walk the other day.

Hoping and praying they catch her soon

Princess desperately needs a foster home or rescue space. She is coming directly from her trainer and has not been small dog or cat tested but she is greyhound friendly. She is a lovely friendly gentle girl whom I'm sure will make an excellent pet. I still have to find out her exact age from her tattoo and will update when I do so. Princess in the Chester area.

I know someone who has had some success using aloe vera

I hope you don't mins but I've emailed a friend and forwarded this post, she lives in that area and also used to be the dog warden there so will keep an eye out and no doubt put the word about. I hope Amy comes home soon for her owners

We are now fostering Dotty and I can confirm she is an absolute sweetheart. I cannot believe she has never lived in a house before, we haven't had a single accident and she asks to go out. She is great with my 3 and has been fine with other dogs on walks although she still has to be tested with small dogs. She loves people and has been great with our neighbours 2 boys aged 11 and 13. She is a wonderful little dog and is going to make an amazing pet.

Before Christmas I posted about Lucy asking for an emergency foster home. She was retired from racing with what her trainer thought was a ligament injury but after a trip to the vets and some x-rays it turned out poor Lucy's leg was broken in 4 places Lucy found a wonderful foster home in Warrington and they have nursed her back to health. Last Friday Lucy had her cast off and as her leg has fully healed so Lucy is now ready to find her new forever home. She has a wonderful temperament and despite her trainer saying she would kill anything small she settled straight into a life with 2 older JRT's as well as many other dogs, including foster dogs. This girl is still very much a puppy and is going to make someone a wonderful pet. Lucy is being rehomed through GREYHOUNDS 4 U
These pictures were taken when I first picked Lucy up, she was in a lot of pain.
a few weeks later and she is on the mend
just look at that cheeky face, she is such a character
I don't have any pictures of her with out her cast yet but will update as soon as I do.

Meet Dotty, she is a small white and black 2 1/2 year old greyhound bitch (she'll be 3 in April). She has been retired from racing because she has a ligament injury on her front leg but this shouldn't bother her as a pet. She has a wonderful temperament and is intelligent. Dotty already enjoys the company of other greyhounds but has to be tested with cats and small dogs. She is looking for a foster or permanent home and is currently with her owner/trainer in Chester.
The tip of Dotty's tail is missing but it doesn't stop it from wagging
Isn't she gorgeous

Hi Claire, I am pretty certain she is a Kelpie With your permission I can crosspost to Kelpie UK and see what they think. There may also be a possibility of home on there for her too ;)
