  1. ... I find myself in a very childish way, wishing that I will be able to love someone fully, that they can accept and love me for who I am, and that it won't wear off for me in a few months time.

    Wishes come true sometimes

Questions for you my dearest friends....how long before you knew you were in love with your partner? And was that a definite feeling of "this could really last" or did it turn into that?

And am I completely mad for worrying that either I'll be rejected if I let someone in, and/or I'll not be able to love them for ever/long time and end up hurting them horribly.....girl of many contradictions - that's me!

You're not mad for worrying. I was terrified when I found myself falling for Ian. I didn't expect to fall so heavily for someone at my age, then 50. This was about 18 months ago and it gets better all the time.

  2. Life should be life. He killed THIRTEEN women and attempted to kill seven more. In the US he'd probably have been given 30 years per crime, served back to back with never a hope of parole, which is at it should be.

Agree with that. This country is too lenient, the sentences don't fit the crime and bail and parole given to people who the n commit serious crimes.

A man was stabbed in Oxford street , part of some gang war. He was on bail for a horrendous crime and I couldn't help thinking that it was justice or karma.

  3. I have two small dogs, one cat, two rabbits, and one cockatiel . They all live inside. The cat is the boss followed by the cockatiel. They all get on and none of them stalk each other. I was very careful when choosing my dogs (both rescues).

  4. but I detested everything about Tony Blaire. He sold this country down the river and abused its inhabitants in every way that he could.

I could barely stop myself spitting at the screen when he was on the telly. !

God help us if he ever becomes the President of Europe :ohno02:

We have to wait and see with Boris,

  5. She might be very allergic to fleas, you have to wash the blankets and spray the carpets and curtains with something that kills the eggs .

Might be food allergy or as already said grass allergy.

Might be stress which can cause dogs to feel itchy or might be a calmíng signal , displacement activity.

  6. he is a buffoon but he is nice and I think he genuinely cares...........................but I may be proved wrong of course. But anyone is better than slimey Livingstone!!x

Absolutely! I would have voted for The Anyone But Ken party but they didn't have one.

  7. Sundaygirl , she is gorgeous and a real sweetheart

Nettie , thanks for looking up the info. her cOat feels so beautifullY soft.

Karen , thankyou for explaining :flowers: I've got muddled with the terminology and in my defence I've always had short haired dogs :laughingsmiley:

I was thinking about thinning her coat especially on her front and thought the mars king would do that.

I had more success grooming her yesterday, i held a bull pizzle so she had to stand to chew it and manages to groom most of her .

I've only had a her a week and she still handshy and anticipates haVing her eyes, nose and coat done, She also wees when she is left, though she is improving, so I dont want to stress her out more than I have to at the moment,

here's a photo of her with my other little dog Dibby , he's a cutie too.
