Peggy has had lots of junk food, sausages chicken nuggets, pizza and and icecream. Excuse me in the photo. It's my birthaday and she's giving the best bits to that bloody ginger dog.

My beautiful Peggy is 10 today, she is still as sprightly as a 4 year old, I put this down to the fact that she hates running and is one of lifes moochers. Happy Birthday Peggy. Sausage roll and chicken nugget party later.

why are people so horrible and thoughtless. My colleague was due to have 2 big meetings with parents of children tommorow, she rang me today to say she couldn't come in as her son had broken his collarbone in 4 places playing rugby and she was in the hospital with him and wouldn't be in tommorow. I ring around all the professionals to cancel and 1 parent all who send condolences and are completely understanding. Next parent, complains she has taken the day off work, tells me I should do the meeting, I say I can't as I am involved in performance management all day, she then rings off saying she didn't expect to be treated like this etc etc complains to the head and to the LEA. No wonder her daughter treats support staff who help her with contempt.

Mine have a real mix, probably about one quarter CSJ Champ, which I buy a pallet at a time so about £7 a sack, plus raw if they want it, they all each have a "pluck" raw about once a week. Chicken wings, breasts of lamb raw, fish and shrimp when we catch it. They also have a lot of home cooked food with a range of veg, so today they have a stew of kidney, rice, sweet potatoes, celeriac with stock and garlic and thyme ( as I have loads of it). I don't tend to buy dog food as I don't trust a lot of it. Tommorow two chickens pot roated with celery and carrots and spinach, stripped of the bone with CSJ. I cannot get my head around feeding just kibble no matter how good it is, I would hate to eat the same thing everyday, and IMHO I do think it damages their constitution. I have to beat the chicken wings with a rolling pin for two of mine. I wouldn't feed just raw as it doesn't seem to agree with them.
