    Thanks all its quite exciting but scary at the moment. Its the first of the houses where Ive actually come home and reviewed my finances as to if I could afford which means I must really like it. Apparently its had quite a bit of interest and the guy who went in after us def looked like a landlord to me.

    I may be making a step towards officially being a grown-up :ph34r: Ive been looking at houses for a while and Ive seen a few but Ive actually found one I really liked and have booked a second viewing. Its top of my budget but it needs nothing doing to it having recently been renovated.

    Atticus is a fine name indeed , Please thank Archie as that actually has given me an idea to have a "To kill a mockingbird" naming theme for Dogstar , Atticus , Scout , Jem , Dill and of course Boo :)

     

     

     

     

    I love To Kill a Mockingbird its my fav book. Even analyzing it to death in school didnt put me off it and I have it on dvd as well :biggrin:

     

    Jayne Im 31 next week (eek) and Ive been single for nearly 6 years - Im reminded by every birthday Louie has :rolleyes: I go through phases of feelinf down and awkward esp when friends are being couply but then I think about I dont have to deal with the arguments and have the freedom to do things I want on spur of moment without it effecting anyone. Im am horribly lacking in confidence and I really admire what you've done with your job and getting out there holidaying on your own etc. I stay in my rut as its safe even if I hate being in it.

    That's allowed :flowers: I just wasn't sure if I had missed your exciting news as I think you mentioned it at the end of the last month thread! Do you need some concrete to help firm them up?!

     

    Noo want to be as light as possible lol. Its just I havent had much luck with trying to sort these things out before.

    Am enjoying the early evenings. It was nice proppeed up on my bed reading with the sunset streaming through my window.

     

    Am back to work after 11 days off has been a real struggle today :rolleyes:

     

    Sorry you didnt get the contract Michelle at least you can take it as experience.

     

    Hope Kinky hasnt done too much damage & Shara feeling less wobbly soon.

    Oldies Club is celebrating older dogs! We are holding a fundraising photo competition for the fifth year running especially for dogs age 7 and over. The winning dog will represent the Oldies Club for the following year. The only rule for this competition is that dogs entering need to be veterans, they do not necessarily need to be rescue dogs to enter.

     

    We have divided the UK up into 7 regions - North East, North West, South East, South West, Midlands, Scotland and Wales. The winner of each region will go forward to the Grand Final.

     

    The competition will run for the month of March, closing at 9pm on Sunday 31st March 2013.

     

    PLEASE don’t leave it till the last minute and risk missing out!!

     

    NB. You must own the copyright of the pictures you are posting as any photos entered may be used for future promotional material by Oldies Club. No studio shots such as those taken at Pets at Home events.

     

    Oldies Club Committee members are unable to take part in this competition. This rule does not apply to helpers or other associates.

    Welcome back Sam. Thanks for the fab pics of Waggy :wub:

     

    On Friday in work I said I was looking forward to the weekend for my lie-in. I didnt get up until 12.30pm which was much later than even I anticipiated!

     

    Fingers crossed its not too serious and you receive news soon Liz!
