  1. Lovely pictures  , it can be a bit of a bind living so close together. Cady's dad lives with us as her parents keep splitting up and getting back together  , at the moment they are together but living apart. Cady doesn't sleep well and can get up quite a few times during the night, last week she stayed here three nights this week so far it's been two. I have her all day Thursday as they don't have child care for her then. Rebecca's mum is on maternity leave and she is here with her five days a week.I see Xander a couple of times a week and I'm getting him all day Monday as they don't have anyone to look after him. I'M KNACKERED but I still adore them .

  2. Thanks Alicia, I've bought a Dell, I was on their site and built one but it was taking so long ( I was on my daughters laptop ), I gave her my cards and told her to just buy me the bl00dy thing . I was going to put on what hard drive and so on it has but I've forgotten  .My monitor is okay but I would like a new one, I'm going to wait until my birthday in a couple of months and my kids who never know what to buy me can get one for me. My new one will be here on the 16th of this month :bigsmiley:

  3. very sweet children, particularly the new baby! Are they really brats? definition of the word is ill mannered annoying child, or illmannered immature adult... surely they should be too young to fit that description?

Cady is turning into a right handfull, I've had her all day today and I've had my hair pulled, I've been bitten and she's been nipping me, she also usually plays very nicely with Arran but today she kept trying to hit him, she's been a right wee monster but I still love her  .

  4. Having just switched from a desktop to a laptop, I would definitely say go down the laptop route

I did think about it and my brats are trying to convince me that it would be better, I'm using my sons laptop just now, I like it just for being on the internet but I like mucking about with pictures and I do a lot of printing. What I might do at some time in the future ( when I have money  ) is to get a laptop just to use for sitting playing on the internet.

  5. Thank you :flowers: they are pretty good apart from Xander swearing and Cady not sleeping, so far Rebecca is behaving herself

Ssshhh, not a word, but I think I might be quite fond of Rebecca unsure.gif, I don't "do" children.

Jane would be good as the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Last but not least the only boy Alexander  19 months who has started to pick up swear words  , his favourite is to tell people to fof of, he does get told of but so far he's still doing it, he also always gets to the phone first and yells haoo at people, he then shouts Paul ( his dad ) and hands it to him

  7. It comes from Curry's and is made by Packard Bell, so the answer is almost certainly no. Also, will Windows 7 really run within 2GB of RAM? Am dubious...

Try Dell - http://www.dell.co.uk/ Dells are generally good value and quality.

   Thanks for that, must admit I've been quite lucky with Curry's most of my stuff is from there and it's been fine, I must just have been very lucky. The computer thats just gone bust came from there 7 years ago and it's just in the past couple of months it's started playing up, I'm of to have a look at Dell, thank you :flowers: .

  8. My p.c. has just gone to the great p.c. dump in the sky and I need to get a new one. I'm pretty skint at the moment but I need one for when the b.& b. starts up again in a few months. I'm not really a fan of laptops but if I have to go down that road I will. I really only use it for getting my bookings and mucking about with my photos so I like it to be hooked up to my printer, the only other thing I use it for is to come on here and a few other sites, I also use it to keep in touch with brat no 3 ( Kirsty ) who lives in America. Can any one please shove me in the right direction as to where the best place to go to get a new one.

  9. I tried to leave a comment but my puter is poorly at the mo and I'm using my sons lap top so I can't get to my emails to join :mecry: . I was going to ask if she would like to go to a rescue centre and ask if she could hold a dog or a pup as it was being put to sleep as because of what she's done that will more than likely happen.

  10. B. I. L is a chauffeur, one of his passengers one day was none other than....RHCP biginlove.gif

More than once, A. K. left his after shave in the car once, you should have seen the fights here over which brat was going to get it. O.H. has also driven Metallica, Gordon Brown, Gary Lineker, Idina Menzel ( singer in Wicked ),Alistair Darling, Princess Anne, George Bush's personal secret service agents , Charles Kennedy, Menzies Cambell, Ricky Fulton.I should add that I have sat in the same cars as the above . When he was in the police he met Elton John, Billy Connolly, he also when he was in the police had to help Princess Margaret into her car when she was taken ill very early one morning whilst leaving a night club in Edinburgh  .

Eldest daughter used to go out with the drummer from Snow Patrol, was good friends with The Supernaturals, has met Mark Owen ( take that ) and Marti Pellow, Robbie Williams, she's met others but I can't remember who they are.

OH is also related to the first labour prime minister.

  11. Abby says fank ooo , the only way we can spoil Abby is with food in the two years we've had her she's never played with a toy no matter how hard we try with her. The pair of them sit there all the time, it's funny to see people pass and then walk backwards to see if it really was a pair of dogs that were sitting in the window.

  12. I can't believe it's been two years since we made the long journey down south to pick Abby up, apart from the barking, trying to steal any food that's lying about and wanting to kill Molly my sons dog she has been perfect  .

Love you loads my girl  .

  13. I forgot I'd taken pictures of Abby at Christmas  .

I'd dropped a bag of treats on the floor and after I'd picked them up Abby decided that she would sleep where I dropped them just in case there were any strays hanging about  .

    DSC06317.jpg

She lay there for ages and poor Arran was getting a curled lip every time he went over to see what she was doing.

  14. Brilliant pictures, I also admire you for taking a camera out and being able to use it in these temperatures. My pair are hating the snow as soon as the bums are down and they've been they turn around and head for home  .
