  1. The guy in Scotland came to mind reading this, if it's the same one I was aware off he was operating in Edinburgh. Wanker angry.gif

That's the guy that lived just up the road from me, I spent ages trying to get a photo of him but I never could, his flat from the outside was disgusting, the dogs were seemingly kept in small cages in the flat. I'm sure that's the guy that sold a couple of dogs on and the new owners were bitten by them. If I remember right Amanda ( greyhound pal ) had something to do with stopping him.

  2. My daughter Claire is getting married next year in July and I've advised her to get insurance for it, she had looked at E&L but going on what people have said about the pet insurance I've told her to look elsewhere. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company to go with.

Claire is my youngest granddaughters (Rebecca ) mum

My favourite picture of the pair of them

  3. I hate Dysons and will never ever have another one, I've got a Bissell lift off and it's fantastic, I just need to remember to wash the filters every so often and it's like new again with no loss of suction unlike the Dyson ( 3 of them ) which lost suction very quickly.

  4. I'd touch wood before you say that! I was reading yesterday that a lot of adults even in their forties are suddenly becoming allergic to things that they never were,

I was in my 40's when I became allergic to my oh so there could be something in that  .

  5.

my niece is very allergic to red animals, ginger cats and my red Staffies had her sneezing and snotting in half an hour,

She is allergic to all short haired cats and dogs they bring on her asthma, my pair can also trigger it if I've brushed them within about 20 hours of her visiting, she seems to be okay with all other small furries.

  6. A nursing home a couple of streets away from me used to have a live in lab, all the staff were responsible for her welfare, from what I remember they used to have regular coffee mornings to raise funds for food and vet treatment, they had quite a health bank balance so I've been told. When the old girl died the residents were all very upset.

  7. Lester what I did was to go around taking pictures of rubbish, I then made posters, I typed on them asking if people thought this was acceptable, I shoved the council phone number and e-mail addys on the bottom laminated them and put them on trees and lamp posts in the park. There was four pictures on each poster.

These are some of the pictures I took

  8. A couple of years ago we had the dogs trust in the park, they shoved wee flags in the dog poo to highlight the problem. I've decided that if they do it again I'm going to get my own wee flags and go around shoving it in all the crap that humans leave behind just to show that they leave more rubbish behind than dogs do, the rubbish that people leave behind is also a lot more dangerous than dog shite.

Please don't for a moment think that I believe not picking up after your dog is acceptable I don't, I can regularly be seen offering bags to owners who don't pick up. I also don't know about your parks but about here it's usually people that are passing through that don't pick up not the regulars.
