1. If i've came across that we'd be out for hours on end then i've worded it wrongly, the dogs are out for 2/4 walks a day, totalling 2 hours. At weekends we go out walking, and we're out for 4 hours at the most, its more geared towards us getting a change of scenery and the dogs getting the chance to splash about in the river and run about. I've worded things wrongly, my point was, a pup (particularly a large breed pup), wouldn't be able to cope with the exercise our two get, so what ways did people have so the 'older' dogs still got there exercise and the pup didn't get left out. For example, one thing i've just noticed is the idea of a backpack, that way the dogs get there exercise, and the pup can walk so far, and be carried the rest, i was just wondering what other ideas like this people had.
 2. This modern tech is confusing me i tried to edit to add... Its interesting to read peoples views thanks.

Looking back, our first doglet was picked purely because it was felt shes had no chance of finding a home, so we picked her purely because we felt she was the most needy.
Second doglet.....well........ she sort of happened , and we wouldn't swap her for the world.

 5. As i said in a previous post, we're looking to extend our furry family , one option we've always thought about is a rescue puppy, the only thing that puts us off is.... We love going on long walks out in the countryside, and through the week to dogs get about 2 hours walks/training per day, so what happens with the pup (who obviously can't be left for long) while the other dogs are getting there exercise? We don't have frirnds/family who can puppy sit. I'd love to know how people have worked this, and any helpful ideas and opinions.
 6. We have a cross breed (Rotty X terrier), and a heinz, I'm just wondering is people have a preference? I ask as we're looking to add to the family, and can't decide whether it should be a full breed, a cross, or a heinz. Breeds we're considering are..... Greyound and border collie (yes two very different breeds!!), but on the otherhand i'd love another heinz, i'm sure we'll know when we find the right dog. Just wondered what other peoples preferences are.
