  1. Yesterday this sweet little lad barely 7 weeks old was taken into the pound RDR work with after being found by the side of a canal, his siblings drowned. :mecry: Sleep tight babies. Coryn made rapid arrangements, thank you Coryn. Today I took him to rescue and what a teeny baby he is too, just wants cuddles and TLC which he will get, he hasn't gone into kennels being such a baby but is staying with the lovely man Paul who runs the rescue. We live in a cruel world, thank goodness there are some very caring people out there. :GroupHug:

    Baby Quinn.

  2. Signed and crossposted. I have never had an inclination to add to Spains economy by going there,I know it's not much but I wouldn't holiday there if someone paid me to go. I hate the animal cruelty not just to the Galgo's but all other animals too, it makes me feel sick.

  3. At least I got a reply from the 'Kennel Club'

Thank you for your comments. The Kennel Club is aware of this site, and whilst we completely condemn it (a Press Release will be issued later today to that effect), we are not in any position of authority to close it down. We have no legal jurisdiction over what websites go online, but we are looking in to other possible courses of action against the website.

You may also want to write to your MP about the issue as it is Parliament that ultimately regulates what websites are permitted.

  4. Earlier today as I was going to Yorkshire and listening to the car radio. A Lancashire Rescue was on the news saying how appalled they were at the number of dogs being abandoned at the moment. Not just Christmas unwanted puppies either. One older dog left tied to a gatepost, and one elderly blind, deaf dog abandoned on the moors to fend for itself or starve. Luckily found and taken to the rescue. These are just 2 examples of peoples cruelty. I hate some people with a vengeance, thank goodness for the saviours.

  5. I can't say Happy New Year to the chap who was dragging Scampi along the canal bank to drown him as a 5 month old, but thank goodness we happened to be along at the time to wish Scampi many Happy ones since. Happy New year to RSPCA Warrington though who trusted us enough to adopt Dylan a very frightened BC lad who had been described by his previous owners as dirty and destructive. He wasn't and has given us much joy over the years as both have.
