Just to let everyone know, there is a world wide candle lighting ceremony Tonight, July 18th to pray for the safe return of all lost pets and animals and to help find homes for those pets who need them. If everyone lites a candle at midnight in their time zone, we can have a candle lit around the world. Please join us in our efforts to bring these pets home and increase awareness to pay attention to lost pet pictures, when a family looses their pet, they loose a part of their hearts. Many small children and elderly depend on these loved animals for companionship. Let's all do our part to reunite a pet and a lonely heart. There are often people quite willing to help a charity but can't take on a large commitment. Have the OC considered splitting this role down ? For example have a fund raising coordinator who does just that. Coordinates activity. Then have separate people for the different tasks under that umbrella. a) Sponsorship b) events c) online competitions d) ...... etc This doesn't overload any one person and then they are less likely to drop out if they have other commitments or illness for example which prevents them from temporarily continuing.
