1. Morning all

Oh and my IBS has kicked off big time Natalie so I can remember the symptoms better. Very helpful of me ay.

    I can't stop burping.

Hi Michelle, so is burping a symptom of IBS then?

    My symptoms are:

wind (not burping)!! bloated stomach, and intense pain in my stomach area

am fine in the morning, but as soon as lunchtime comes, it all kicks off

oh and I definitely go more regularly !

but like i have said before, the doc is adamant its not IBS

:GroupHug: for you who needs them

I layed some new turf last night to cover up the holes in the garden where our rabbit has been digging ..... so for once am hoping the rain forecast today does happen cause it needs loads of watering

right better go and shower, do school lunches and get children sorted

  2. Just had this link through via MoneySavingExpert:

    Self Tanning Bargain!

Basically you get a £25 Calfornia Spray Tan at a Tanning Shop branch for free thanks to a voucher printed in this month's Glamour magazine (which costs £2)

    thanks for that

I get Glamour magazine but hadn't even noticed this offer in there .... and there is a Tanning Shop in MK. Might give it a go

  3. ARRGGHHHH.

My stupid, bloody, husband has just spent twice what we agreed on a new pc - buying us something way beyond the spec that we need - and taking money from other things that we do need. I am so bloody cross with him. On top of the fact that he's also lost the sat nav I bought him for Christmas - it's such a waste. :mecry:  :mecry:

I am so cross and upset.

    :GroupHug:

Men eh. Thats why sometimes I am glad to be single ..... my ex was a bugger at spending money on crap we didn't need and so we missed out on useful items

please send 'sell quick' thoughts to the portable air con and loft insulation ive just put on ebay please, I need some cash

    thank you xxxx

sending you lots of 'sell quick' thoughts ... hope you get the amounts you are hoping for

Well I've been to the hospital and am being booked in for another operation. Groan.

:GroupHug: sorry to hear that Michelle. Hope this operation sorts the problem out once and for all.

I finally summoned up the courage to read '102 minutes, the untold story of the fight to survive inside the Twin Towers'.I bought it ages ago.It is really good but incredibly sad as it makes you realise a large amount of people died that day when they really didn't need to because of mistakes made during the entire rescue process :( :mecry:

After being to Ground Zero earlier this year, although the place was very moving and I shed a tear I do find a fascination with documentaries on TV about what happened etc. Have been tempted to read this book, but like you say, am sure it must be very sad but on the other hand does open your eyes as to what went on, including the rescue etc.

The Apprentice is on soon so am going to have a peppermint tea (to heal my tummy) and curl up under my duvet and watch it in bed.

Me thinks Clare is going to win this year. Not sure who I want to go tonight ..... maybe that supposed half Jewish guy whose name escapes me !!

    NN

  4. Jackysian: in my diet rules, for every bit of fruit or veg you eat, you can eat something naughty

finished my ABs on Saturday night

and guess what, my tummy problems have started again today

doc says leave it for a couple of weeks and see how I get on and he will see me at the end of May !!

    What do I do?

Do as he asks and then when I do see him put my foot down to be referred?

or go back to see him this week and request further action

    :(

  5. I just got to meet some more of my neighbours

Because they came to tell me that a speeding skip lorry carrying unsecured scaffolding poles had dropped a pole onto the back of my car, denting the back wing and smashing the rear windscreen :mecry: :mecry:

    oh no thats awful, :GroupHug:

Guiness is home  She is out in the sunshine and doing fine. She has been given a vitamin b injection and is on antibiotics and will have to have a renal diet from now on but the outlook is pretty positive.

If anyone knows about renal stuff in cats or has one on this sort of diet i'd be interested to hear about it :flowers:

  6. Guiness update - She didn't get to come home last night as the vets wanted to monitor her. It's her kidneys apparently. They gave her an antisickness injection and were possibly putting her on a trip.I can't wait to bring her home.I miss her! They will be putting her on a renal diet to see how she gets on with that.

I have the shitz. It's most unpleasant. Having to keep trousers undone in readiness for emergency loo dashes.

    Yuck.

:GroupHug: sending you and your bottom healing thoughts, not nice :(

Melp wear a skirt & no knickers then you can just squat down & pretend you're picking up dog poo any time you need to - will account for the smell too :flowers:

    :biglaugh:

  7. Morning All

Still have no toolbar .... grrr !

I tried what Snow suggested, and clicked on Options but it just kept pinging me back up to the top page.

    Its getting really annoying now.

Doesn't look as though its going to be as warm today.

Kids and Lady are still upstairs asleep, gives me time to have coffee and catch up on here in peace.

Right, am going to have another play around to see if I can get it working

  8.
Noooo, I wouldn't be brave enough to try a dark one first
