Jakey has been missing from the YO24 area of York since 17th March. He has to have a special diet and can get ill if he's not fed on it. He is White with black speckles, microchipped, neutered and wearing a black leather collar with silver studs on it. Please let us know if you see him. Hi, The following dogs are due out of the pound this week. All are un-neutered and un-vaccinated and although we can describe their reactions to dogs walking past them in the kennels, they are not fully assessed with other dogs. O15 is a brindle staffie male of around 7 or 8 years old. He's a nice friendly chap who is calm and placid, a proper fusspot according to the kennel staff. Due out on 2nd May. M5 is a brindle staffie male of just under a year old. He's only a youngster really so still has a lot of puppy-ness about him. He's a lovely dog with a lovely nature. Due out on 6 May. G7 is a male American Bulldog x staffie of just over a year old. He has come from a home but his owners did not want to pay the reclaim fee so they signed the poor lad over. He's got a lovely friendly nature and is a bit crestfallen at being in the pound and deserted by his owners. Due now. What we need for this dog is an Ambull expert to assess him and confirm his breeding please G13 is a tan staffie bitch of around 2 years old. She is friendly and pleasant and quite calm. Hi, I've had a lady contact me. She phoned about one of Rain Rescue's dogs who would be unsuitable for her but she is looking for a small spaniel type of about 7-8 years old. She already has a Tibetan Spaniel and has recently lost her 17 year old Westie. She has no internet access so said that I would ask around for her. Bobby went missing on Thursday 19.03.09 from Burnby, Pocklington around 6:30pm. He is a staffie cross, neutured, microchipped and wearing a black collar. He is very friendly and a much loved pet. Funnily enought, Polly is the only one that doesn't batter her when she goes near her!!! However she is like a hormonal teenager and swears under her breath at you (Polly not Kelly! )

Aw thanks everyone.....she is a pleasure to own. I totally love her to bits, she goes with us to my OH's nephews and is very good with them and is even getting used to their cats too!! I had 3 rules when we got her. 1, not going on the bed. 2, not on the sofa and 3, not feeding from our plates......well we've kept to number 3

Here are some pics of my rescue Staffy, Kelly. She was save from the Pound by RDR and I rehomed her from Plantation Dog Rescue in York. We've had her since April and I think she is the best thing since sliced bread!! On holiday in Cornwall! Who said that cats and Staffies don't get on!! We have five cats and she is scared stiff of them!!
