Thank you I did wonder if that was the case. I read that dogs have an extra Chakra... do you know where Chakra's are on dogs or do you just purey go with what you feel?

Hi guys, I have recently done my Reiki 1 and am currently practicing on people but I really want to do it for dogs and other animals too eventually. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good website or book where I can learn about treating animals with Reiki?

Just to add my wee bit, I have found clicker training fab! Jago loves it as i think it makes it clear to him what exactly I want him to do. We have been working on "look at me" and the clicker makes it so easy to mark exactly when his eyes meet mine and mark exactly the behaviour I am looking for. It has been revelation and I am loving training with it as it makes it so easy and very very enjoyable!

Hiya, I'm Kirsten, 26 and I live in Orkney. I am married with 2 wee boys. I have a lovely lab boy called Jago I run my own business doing Podiatry, Reflexology, O2 detox, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candles. I am doing the first part of my Reiki 1 on Monday (would like to do animal treatments also) and hope to learn massage and get up to at least Reiki 2 in the next few years. Phew! So hello everyone ETA- we are currently building a lovely big new house and I'd love to adopt a Vizsla bitch once we're settled and my youngest is at school.
