  1. its a shame as she would make such a difference to me. i don't go in many shops round here due to my wibbles. morrisons being the main one and the doctors. i might talk to my phych nurse next time i see him the man is a wonder) and see what he thinks.

its annoying as my mum sent a article from the daily mail to me a while back about a woman with the exact same problems getting her dog registered. when i rang the number on the ad they said they no longer did it.

  2. i think we got wires crossed, i did'nt mean take her to visit people i mean't get it so she could acompany me everywhere. like a guide dog for the blind. she is great when we are out to gether and i feel calm and happy. its when i have to go out alone the problems crop up.

  3. i have heard stories about dog's not just trained to help with physical disabilities but mental ones to. i was wondering how i would go about registering my dog? i have googled all i can but everyone seems geared toward physical disabilities or autistic children(which is fantastic!)

if anyone can point me in the right direction i would be very grateful

  4. Hubby brought me home a HUGE bouquet of red roses and gypsofelia, my favourite flowers and the ones i carried the day we got married. the bouquet had a big red ribbon on and i took the bow off and put it on Peaches, needless to say i don't think she was impressed and just after i took this shot she went back to trying to get it iff.

  5. i will get frontline, and i probably will pay through the nose but we got no way of getting any online atm :( doesnt matter tho as its whats best for her :D

fyi i am probably sounding blunt and cranky atm, aunty flow is not good for me due to certain reasons so i turn into a real devil :P but i do apprecitae all the advice :D

  6. You can buy Frontline in loads of places now. My mum buys hers in the chemists next door to her doctors surgery and I've bought it in Pets@home. I got my last lot from VetUK through clicking the linky on the Dogstar website so that they get a small donation too.

    link

i will remember that for next time, need to sort paypal out for now.

yes she is insured i just got that sorted. she was wormed midway through month i will need to do her again mid september. it was a tablet the vet gave me :D will sort the flea thingy this week.

your all cool :D its nice to know i have somewhere to come when i start wibbling :P

  7. frontline it is, i was just a bit shocked at the £25 price tab i was quoted. oddly enough at my local doc's they have a pharmacy which has a frontline display up. might save me a bus trip :D

  8. i gonna get her into a training class asap but it has to wait untill hubby is driving i am afraid. the stress of going on the bus *would* transfer down the lead.

she usually is very good when out, she wants to say hello especially with people. but i think even i would be worried if surrounded by 3 huge people.

specially if they were having a sniff :D

  9. whilst on our walk earlier we came across 3 large dogs, the moment they saw Peaches they came over, before i knew what was going on she was surrounded. they were friendly but she still sat down and to be honest i thought she looked a little scared.

anyway they evertually left and all tails were wagging, she looked tiny surrounded by them.

what went through my mind was should i pick her up so she is out of the way or try and walk away. this time it was okay but what abotu next time? what if the dogs aren't friendly?

please and thank you in advance

  10. i will try and answer all the questions :D

re the offlead there isnt really anywhere close that i could take her off the lead, also i wouldnt dare let her offlead close to a road and since i got the extendable i make sure she is on very short when we get to a road.

i put her treat ball with her dinner in her crate last night and it appears to be empty, it is at the back of her crate atm and i havent crawled in to get it.

she doesnt really have anyone to learn from except a EXTREMELY nutty black lab pup who bombs about and has been known to jump right over her even knocking her flying. she doent seem scared of him in fact she just ignores him and carries on sniffing about.

in fact when out on walks if we meet anyone else even walking there own dogs she would much rather go up to the human than the dog. considering what i have been told i thought that was rather odd as i would have thought she would be more comfortable with other dogs, but no its humans she goes to everytime.

end of the day she is a happy little thing and obviously loves her mum bless her

i will try and catch a video running but its hard as she does it so rarely.

  11. there are times i think i will never understand that dog, i even tried weaving around so the lead was extended but she still stayed close to me, i not sure weather i should be happy because she wouldnt go far from me or dissapointed cause she didnt get the idea to run free.

apart from her usual stunt of trying to run across the road to get to home.

oh and hubby has the camera on his phone, i will try and get piccies of her running when she does her loony tooning round the garden.

your hubby looks almost as happy as the cav :D do you go on the cavalier forum?
