I've submitted a couple of eye-wateringly ugly items but, with hindsight, I'm not sure they'll be allowed I'd quite understand because they are truly hideous!

Ryan is top of the page. Look!
-
What a wonderful achievement for Ryan! Thank you so much to Gail and Ryan
Would you mind, Gail, if I added a piece about the walk to our Events Stories page, maybe with a photo too?

Fingers crossed that Ryan has good weather!
He's been featured on our Events page on the Oldies Club website

Bidding starts this Thursday.....

Are you sure? I had a feeling there was more than one judge now confirmed...
-
Hmm, I wonder if Amy has managed to get another very exciting high-profile judge lined up?
-
Jack is just lovely, isn't he!
Dougie is definitely a plank That's such a greyhound thing! I've got so many photos of my lot cramming themselves into cat beds and my parents ickle dog beds

For those who need a reason to persuade OH's to come along....
The campsite will get booked up fairly soon so I wouldn't delay with booking.
-
I'm intending on getting a bigger tent though as I'd like to be able to stand up
What's the need to stand up when you can drink as much as we did?
-
Can everyone drop a note in here to say if they book a pitch (how many and who for) so we can keep tabs on expected numbers
The campsite can't book us in one large group so it's probably just as well if we don't ask on each call. If they think we're desperate to be near one another then we might be split up like norty children
-
I think it's best to buddy-up in 3's if possible - or particularly if you want to ensure you're next to someone you know - and then one person from the mini group could call to book the pitches for their party.
-
Newsflash!
I've spoken with the campsite and they're happy to have us back
They're not taking large group bookings as guests who want a quiet getaway for two can find it intimidating which is a very fair point. They've said they way which we can aim to get around this would be to book in blocks of three - so one person can book up to three pitches. It's pot luck as to whether the next caller gets allocated space next to the previous caller. They currently have plenty of availability for the nights of Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July right across the campsite but I would suggest booking early to avoid disappointment, especially for the Pods or B&B. The campsite has great amenities and is in a lovely location so, even without being in a large group, we think it's still the best option.

That's Glastonbury and someone (sorry, my brain has fried) has mentioned they can't do that. I'll look into things this week and will update again shortly. Hopefully we'll be able to please the majority

Knock, knock, knock. Can I come in?
Erm, I have a full 187 pages to read back as well as the end of December that I missed so I might be gone a while I hope everyone is well. I haven't even been lurking, just don't seem to have found the time lately.
Have been missing you all
Oh, Claire, thank you for the Christmas card (that's how far behind I am!)

Cher (ranirottie) is holding this event for us. I'm sure she'll be along soon if you have any questions.

Oh Jules, I'm sorry for not posting sooner.
So pleased to hear the Ollie is feeling a bit perkier now and I hope he continues to feel better
-
Oh Terri, I'm really sorry to hear that. Maybe it could be rearranged? I'm sure you'd make it a great success so please do think about it. I've cancelled tomorrow's M&G on our website.
