Hi All, I'm new here, but saw this thread and wanted to light a candle for my old boy Sparky who went to sleep for the last time 4 weeks ago. It still doesn't seem real. I cope most of the time, but I can't walk past the little casket with his ashes in without a lump in my throat. It's funny, I just stand and touch it sometimes so I can feel like I'm connected to him again. It's so heart warming to read others posts, and the candle is a lovely thought.
