Had FAITH in you but I did decide that no ordinary Terrier would do You got a very special one there Shall I exchange it for a very nice Staffie I have here

  7. Oh YES our Sara can handle a wee Terrier no problems And I also think that the Terrier can also handle her, Here is a pis of the Famours TINKER GIRL We also call her TINKS and the smart little one was quite taken by Sara, I nearly had to search her pockets when she was going away
  8. Yes he is doing fine, the Op went well and he even decided to bite poor Marta when she went to put a bandage on him, even though he is doped to his eyeballs he still finds the time and energy to scream as he hates being confined in a kennel. Marta said it was difficult enough with the Op as she could not streatch his leg in any way as it was so knarled from what ever injury he had to it and it seemed to be done quite a while, so she had to make a sort of V shape around it So thanks to all for all the good wishes for him
  9. Hi just wanted to share this poor dog with you all, It took 4 days to catch him, he was left on an abandoned Halting site in Ireland, so in the end I had to sedate him and Travellers helped me to catch him and put him into the van as I was not in the best of health or had the strength. He is going to have a full Amputation on Tuesday, so I want good vibes for him as he is terrified of humans and is also slightly FERAl but I am sure that with time and a bit of TLC he will come along nicely. His poor leg is totally mangled!! I only want to show his poor leg to people here and am not looking for any donations towards his surgery as our Vet Marta is very good to us here in Cottage Rescue! I am hoping that some of you may also come with a nice name for him.
  10. This poor puppy came into me a few days ago, it has the dreaded mange very bad and her back legs are not so good either. What a sad world we live in
  11. Got a call today from a nice lady that heard a lot of whimpering last night so when she got up this morning off she went in search of a litter of noisy puppies but she only found one. It is a little female and she is only about 10-12 days old, her ears are still closed and her eyes are only begining to open I think she is a little Staffie The lady thought that she was out of a litter that a beagle cross had that lives wildish near by but that Bitch and her puppies disappeared 5 days ago, I think that maybe this wee one was Cruelly dropped off last night all alone so the lady is going back to see if she can find anymore. I will post a pic of Angel later when she wakes up as she is now sleeping off her dinner and getting over the fright of Frontline that I had to use on her due to the Flea infestation Oh did I not say that I all ready named her Angel And here is another just to give you an idea as to what size she is and of course I have to size her again a packet of the dreaded weed :whistling:
  12. I will be thinking of you and her tomorrow Sara and I know that you will do right by her what ever the outcome Sometimes this game of Rescue can be so sh*tty but we do it for the animals well at least we should.
  13. Maggie came into us in the 1st week in June in pretty bad condition from Mange and was so very sad and thin, but very vocal and loved to have a chat with you and her nervousness soon went. Here she is when she came in And here she is in Sweden with Ellen her new Mammy who loves her so very much with her new doggie family She went over to Sweden via the lovely Eva two weeks ago Ellen rang me lots of times about Maggie before she went over and I am still getting updates on her as recent as yesterday and she may visit us in the Autumn. Here was Maggie UNLOVED and UNCARED for here in Ireland and nobody to look after her until she came into rescue via one of our contacts Mick who took compassion on her and now she is so loved within her new family in Sweden. Dont you just love happy endings
  14. Are'nt you the smartie pants lady today Sara My Tinker may look cute but she sure can strip those wee teeth that she has left to attack anything that annoys her but I loves her
  15. Do we have some experts here on Chihuahuas? Can anybody tell me is this pretty lady a Chihuahua or a cross breed of one please! This is my TINKER!
  16. Wondering if any of you people out there have ever heard of Arden Grange food for your Dogs & Cats ?? If so what do you think of it?? Is it a good quality food??
  17. Have no fear, She will get a lovely home when she is all healed up and ready
  18. A lovely pair of ladies (Mum & Daughter) brought a puppy to me a few days ago they found it on the road and it had a broken leg that was not a recent injury, the poor wee little mite, it is a Terrier Cross puppy aged 7 weeks old and is full of LICE and lots & lots of worms The nice lady brought it to a vet and had it X-Rayed and it is went to our vet on Saturday and had the wee leg fixed. So a big THANK YOU to the nice girl who found the puppy, kept it last night, brought it to a vet and paid for the X-Ray. Here is Ziggy She is way too young to have a broken leg as she is only 7 weeks old! Not such a small leg now though and here she is cuddled into her Teddy Bear.
  19. Thank you all for the lovely WELCOME
  20. By his Roman snout, his markings and his wee ears, it can be very hard to tell what is a Greyhound puppy all right as they look like ordinary puppies at that age
