Morning! Cheryl your boss is a t*sser! When to my parents last night, my brother and SIL with shiney new baby was there! She was nice and quiet but I struggled to get the pretend baby liking thing going on!! I apologised said yes she is very sweet, but I'll be more attentive once she's able to come riding with me or walk the dogs!!! I love my sisters older girl cos she now rides and just loves the country life!! I'm so fickle!!! Hope they weren't offended...didn't seem to be cos my brother was more excited about all the bargains he'd got at the auction (they live in central London so Little Island prices amaze them!!!!) 's to anyone who is blue....missed it yesterday Wendy about Gdog, special thoughts to you.

At the moment, I am covering maternity leave for the On Board Service Adminstrator!!! Which mean's I am looking after the running of the 2 ships that run from Holyhead to Dublin...sounds interesting yes??? Boring as f*ck! BUT it mean's I'm not having to do (very often cos still have to help out sometimes) my usual job which is working on board the fast ferry!!! It's great fun, cos they are a lovely bunch to work with...but as I hate the general public, it's a draw back!! I usually work in the 'posh' bit so avoid the rabble but it's a really hard job!! The only good side is we get trained up on loads of really interesting stuff and I'm now quailified to drive a life boat, launch life rafts, and generally save people's lives if we sink!!! But as my thread just started in doggie bit shows...I'm looking to change all that!!!

Phew it's alright, he's just gone on board one of the ships now for the afternoon and evening...so I'm safe to go back into compete and utter complacency!(sp) So sorry about Thumbelina. She's been such a fighter.

Wow that was rather strange...my boss just came and gave me some work!!! Unheard of, we usually just pass in the morning, I make him a brew and that's it!!! Think I need to sit down, had to type something and then take it to finance!

Oh Cheryl that sounds awful! I'm the first person to advocate NEVER EVER EVER move in or buy in with someone other than your OH!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad bad bad bad bad move!!! Hope it sorts itself out..you really don't need that sort of stress right now, it's supposed to be a relaxed happy time! And Jayne, poor Shara! Hope the pills help, I'm sure once they've kicked in she'll be feeling better! Jacky RMF got no fruit ....re: hard plums and pear incident yesterday!! So very very hungry and want biscuits instead!! I hate dieting...the world is against me being thin!!!!!!

Morning... Quick update on Sidney and the flyball challange!! He was brill!! My furry freak leapt and jumped like a pro!! So happy to say we've been invited back, and will be taking part in 'team training' next week!! I love my hairy dog so much...I was so proud I almost blubbed (now that creates a great first impression doesn't it!!! ). Anyway, hope all are fine...will just go and have a quick lookie and see how we are all doing! Jacky

Wellllllllllllllll.......... He was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of my little man. He spent the first few minutes extreamly confused and didn't get what the fuss was about, but we managed to progress in 1 hour from Sidney finding anyway possible to NOT jump over the jumps, to him just doing it cos he wanted to!! We got as far as 4 jumps and the ball being roll from the thingy (okay forgot to ask the technical words!!), we decided to stop there as he had done so much, and was getting abit bored then! He kept looking over at the dogs playing and wanted to join in!! AND I was knackered..you didn't tell me I had to run around as well!!!! So then Peter asked if I'd ever tried agility with him? I said yes once and he was useless!!! So we did some of that as well!!! We managed the tunnel (oh he didn't like that first time...but after that running through it like a rat!!!) he did the jumps very well and them even managed the A frame a couple of times (after alot of tempting!!) Peter says as Sidney is so ball obsessed he's very easy to encourage, he said on agility I'm allowed to train him with a ball (food doesn't do it for Sid) so he think's I should work with him on that as well!! He laughed and said you don't see many dogs like Sidney doing flyball!! I think he meant it in a nice way!!! So they are happy for me to go back next week and join in the team training sessions!! I know he's got along way to go, but from what we saw I think he's a bit of a natural (well got to try some work with other dogs nearby so actually I'll reserve judgement on that!!!! ). Thanks for encouraging us to go, I really enjoyed it and what a lovely bunch of people!!
