  1. Glad to hear the agility went well Sandra We ended up at Lansdown on Sunday - came away with a 3rd and a 5th in the jumping classes. It was our last grade 2 show - I'm going to miss the small(er) classes. Owl, glad to hear they've tracked down the source of the problem, though sorry to hear its not something minor. The 2nd hand one sounds good - definitley cheaper
  2. I'm also having a lazy day. Did the grocery shopping, and took the dogs for a couple of walks. Other than that, not been up to much - watched qualifying for the British GP, and watched some wimbledon. Off to lansdown agility tomorrow. San - good luck with your clubs show tomorrow, I hope it all goes well.
  3. Alex Jazz, I hope the housing officer has shown up. I hope there haven't been any delays in the building work Yantan, and that you get your room back soon. I am knackered today - OH went out with some work mates and didn't get in til 2.45 this morning. He was sufficiently pissed that his attempts to stealthily move round the house and not disturb me were anything but stealthy, and I then couldn't get back to sleep. It is very nearly the weekend though, just a couple more hours of work left.
  4. Good luck Alex - I hope it gets handled appropriately My new phone has arrived - I'm going to take proper care of this one - have a case and screen protector on their way. My pockets end up so filled with sand from agility (not sure how, but the sand gets everywhere), that my old phone was horribly scratched up.
  5. Afternoon Murtle, I hope the lip isn't too sore. Good luck with both the cars. I'm very headachy today - not migrainey thankfully though. I stopped taking all my preventatives at the end of may, and had been ok, but the last couple of days I've felt headaches lurking, which is what I used to get before I started the preventatives. It'll be at least 6 weeks before I can start taking them again, so I'm hoping it is just a temporary glitch.
  6. Well done Glen and Molly. Sorry to hear that new car is poorly owl - I hope its easily fixable. Ted Snow, glad you've found somewhere to get clothes that fit. I'd also like summer back. It's freezing in the office - I think the A/C is setup for normal June weather.
  7. I also have a broken phone I've had to swap my sim into my old non-smart phone. I can't remember how to use it I think I can manage to answer it if it rings, but that's as far as I can get. My sister has texted me and I can't figure out how to reply. I've ordered a new cheapy smart phone which shipped today, so fingers crossed it arrives on Monday. Been out for a lovely walk with the dogs. Met up with my mum and Buzz and Morse. Kia and Buzz had great fun flushing out bunnies, Logan was in heaven cause I brought his chuckit and ball, and Morse spent the walk worshipping my treat bag My feet are rather damp though - don't think I should need my wellies in June.
  8. Glad to hear Ted is doing well. I had a lovely lie in this morning - first time I've slept in past 6.20 in 4 weeks. Was still up by 8, but thats late for me. Have been cleaning and tidying and rearranging furniture in the dogs room. Popped up to the tesco direct near us for some storage boxes so I can start shifting some stuff up to the loft. Logan and Kia have spent the last 30 minutes trying to convince me that it is lunchtime, despite them not normally getting fed til 1ish. They are quite convincing though, so I expect I'll cave and feed them shortly.
  9. :comic19: So pleased Ted can come home
  10. Awww, sorry to hear that Archie's leg isn't any better - good luck at the vets Yay for snow finally having a gardener show up
  11. Morning. Logan is feeling much better this morning Alex, I hope you feel better Yay for Friday! The plan for the weekend is to give the house a thorough clean - its a bit of a tip at the moment.
  12. for Archie - I hope its just a temporary knock and not anything serious.
  13. Afternoon. It's not raining her yet but looks like it will be fairly soon. Hope everyone's day is going ok. Logan's a bit poorly today - he's been sick several times this morning I think we'll be giving agility class a miss this evening, and if he doesn't perk up by tomorrow it'll be a trip to the vet.
  14. Owl - sorry to hear about your aunt, and that Sybil is not fixable That's looking good Yantan. Where is this fabulous day you talk about? Grey and overcast here I did take the dogs to their favourite park for a proper run this morning which they loved - I need to get up early to fit it in before work, so we don't normally go there, but they had so much fun I'm going to try to fit it in more regularly.
  15. Good luck Alex I'm not ready for it to be Monday - the alarm went off far too early this morning.
  16. Alex, I hope your head has eased a bit. And it's definitely time to arrange a holiday. We're back from another day at agility - Logan won his G2 Jumping class, which makes him grade 3 So pleased with him - he really does love to work. He's now completely knackered, as is Kia (who only had to look pretty and be admired all day!)
  17. I'm back from day 1 of the axstane agility show. Logan did well - we came 2nd in the 1-3 combined jumping And he so nearly had a brilliant run in the 1-2 jumping - just slipped on the wet grass and missed a weave pole. His agility run was rather less spectacular - my fault really, as I was concentrating on contacts and forgot to actually handle him round the course. Back again tomorrow
  18. Yay for Ted Owl, I hope the car is fixed and doesn't give you any more bother. Suzeanna, I hope both the hand and the dizziness ease up
  19. Morning. Yantan, your builders sound lovely Fingers still crossed that your exchange goes through Jazz I'm also hoping for rain - both for the sake of the garden, and cause the pressure is making me migrainey. It's not too bad at the moment, but I can definitely feel one building
  20. Phew - OH has phoned around and had a much more sensible quote of £1800 from a local place that specialises in gearboxes Its a fancy automatic / manual something or other gearbox, and its and audi which always seems to make things more expensive. Is looking more promising for keeping the car though They've made quick work of that Yantan. Something tells me it'll take longer to put back together then it did to take down...
  21. Morning Glad to hear the builders have shown up, even if you do need earplugs! I'm meeting my mum at costco at lunch to stock up on some bits and bobs - we're not members but my parents are, which is useful. Looks like OH is going to be car shopping again - garage have quoted £6000 for a new gear box Not worth it for a car that cost half that. He is not a happy bunny - he loves his car.
  22. Morning. Well done Murtle I am at Axstane - both days. Looking forward to it (I am also looking forward to the weekend after when I haven't entered any agility shows - I haven't had a lie in for about a month!).
  23. Thanks Sandra. We were at Thames.
  24. Really hoping that Ted starts improving soon We're back from agility, and had a good day. Yesterday, Logan was 6th in his jumping. Today he was 6th in agility, and 1st in jumping It was his second grade 2 jumping win, so we need one more to move up. He worked so well for me And Kia did really well with the mingling - even let some strangers give her a fuss. Nearly time for dinner, then watching the Canadian Grand Prix this evening
