Lovely, lovely photos, Marge. It looks like you had a great weekend

I love that Cherry deigned to get her princess toes cold and clever Jack building sandcastles

Gorgeous photo of my favourite boy, Bo  and what a beautiful photo of the birthday girl

  2. Thank you very much to whomever Sid accompanied all the way round - I do feed him occasionally, honestly! :flowers:

That would be us, but he wasn't scrounging all the time - honest!

Thanks so much for sorting this, Amy :flowers: We had a wonderful day and it was lovely to catch up with friends  Thank you, also, for the Flora "the minger" Hippo photo   and thank you, Marge, for the Kangaroo Bran pic - lovely to have photographic evidence that his bad hips aren't holding him back

  3. Fionna is in hospital at the moment, but she has asked me to pass on her heartfelt thanks for giving Bertie such a loving home and a wonderful life, he couldn't have asked for better :GroupHug:

I am so sorry that you have lost your boy so much sooner than you'd hoped for :mecry: Thinking of you all at this time :GroupHug:

Run fast and free now, Bertie  angel17.gif

  4. I just wanted to add our thanks to everybody who organised it and to everybody who came for the fantastic company :flowers:

Apologies to all the big dogs that Hugo tried to savage, I tried to warn you

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend and can't wait for the next one!

  5. Yep thats my pupster! Shes a big girl, weighed at the vets this morning she was 23.2 kilos but shes not fat. Shes tall and very muscular although like most dogs she still thinks shes a lap dog

Good grief  She has grown so much  She is a very beautiful girl

  6. His daddy is indeed Very Relieved to have him back, and especially that he is so with it. The last time he had an anaesthetic he was out of it for about 36 hours, wobbly and dribbly, it was horrid to see.

In between licking his quite bad shaving rash  Clive has found time to blog

Blimey! No wonder you're so relieved that he's ok. That must have been scary :( :GroupHug:

    Loving the blog :biglaugh:

  7. I've just read about this in this month's Your Dog. It seems like an appropriate campaign given the recent discussions about the dog orders being introduced, etc although it was launched last August.

The campaign was started in Falkirk as "a non-confrontational friendly way to change the attitudes about dog fouling" and it encourages owners to take the pledge to always clean up after their dogs, to carry extra poo bags and to gladly give other owners a bag.

If you take the pledge, you are sent an armband to wear when walking your dog:

Their website is at green_dog_walkers_380x132.jpg and you need to email [email protected] for a pledge form or info on how to set up a GDW group in your area.

    :flowers:

  8. He's home :partytime:

I don't think we have too much to worry about as his first activity on getting in the door was to race upstairs and plonk his bum down in front of the fridge

I'm so pleased he's home  Has his daddy given him a big manly hug now?

And :biglaugh: :biglaugh: He's such a smart cookie

  9. Does anyone ever notice depression arriving?

I had hoped that I would recognise the symptoms myself :(

Wetsuits and ponytails sounds about right, Victoria

Nettie - We always holidayed in Cornwall when I was a child and have been going to a campsite near Hayle since I was about 7. They recently stopped allowing dogs though so my parents started going to Gwithian instead. Carbis Bay was where my parents took us on our first ever family-of-4 holiday

Does that include Pm's as well

Almost all of them, yes :) An apology would have been nice.

You are indeed a very wise chicken and I followed that advice

Good girl  and thank you.

Be careful with little Hugo and the sea!!! I'm sure you will be but I have visions of him floating off in 3" of water!!

I have the same fear

Thinking lots of "pay lots for Verity's car" thoughts :flowers:

Thread is in Cats and other animals now - I hope!

    Gorgeous pics

:GroupHug: for Cliffy and his worried dad

What a lovely sign from your mum, Maz :flowers:

:GroupHug: Mog - I'm so very sorry :(

:GroupHug: Abby - what time do you get news?

    :GroupHug: Lizzie

Stupid question, I know, Alicia, but did you have a good time?

Hope everything went ok at the dentists, Kazz :flowers:

How considerate of the birthday boy, Lesley

Julia - you deserve more than coffee and cake, a medal I'm thinking
