I'm so sorry you've lost your brave girl Maria
Sweet dreams Smudge
-
We've got snow in the Swindon area now, just a dusting so far but getting heavier
I hate snow
-
I'm so sorry you are going through this, it must be very distressing for you and the dogs ):
I have no advice, I'll leave that to people with more experience, but it really does sound like a situation where professional help might be needed. Have you tried anything like TTouch with Jack? He sounds like a very stressed dog.
If you can't crate Jack, could you crate Cecil to keep him safe for now? Would Jack accept a baby gate to separate him from the others at least for short periods to give them (and you) a chance to relax?

I'm so sorry Tracey, heartbreaking to lose her so suddenly, you must be in shock
Sleep tight gorgeous girl

How did I miss this? Congratulations, what fabulous news
Hope the sickness goes away soon.
-
Arghh, I'd forgotten baked beans, truly disgusting (shudder)
Also coleslaw looks like sick
-
She's gorgeous Laura, thank goodness you were able to take her in
Is she spayed? If not you probably already know that The Mayhew have a free neutering service for bull breeds.

I'm with Jazz on the tomato sauce, totally disgusting. Brown sauce is possibly worse.
Also on my list
Salad cream
Tea (hate the smell)
Vinegar
Any kind of pickle
Oysters
Tripe (think it's the thought rather than the taste)
Tongue (ditto)
Rum
Salmon paste
I'm sure there's more........

What a terrible thing to happen
Absolutely every good thought for your friends and their son

I adopted both Callie and then Musky when they were both in their teens, and was lucky to have both of them for about two years. That may not sound like long (and it never feels long enough) but I loved every day they were with us and wouldn't have missed that time with them for anything
I now have Benji who came as a fifteen year old nearly two years ago. He had lots of health problems initially and I thought we'd be making his last weeks or months comfortable, but he's confounded us by making a full recovery and at 17 is as fit as a flea (and much more annoying ). I know he won't be with us forever, but he's most certainly enjoying life at the moment and makes me laugh every single day with his antics. Whatever happens in future my time with him will always be something special.

See if these images work - I hope you don't mind Kathy:
It sounds as though Ella is definitely finding her feet!

Sending Con all my best thoughts. I hope the scan tomorrow gives a positive result and way forward

Sam is gorgeous Tracey
I'm sure it meant a lot to your mum to know he would be staying with you
-
What a lovely looking boy, I'm sorry to hear you have to rehome him. It might help if you say whereabouts you are.
Is there any chance you could get him neutered before rehoming? It could help him find a good home and would stop people taking him for the wrong reasons.
-
How lovely to see him in his new home, thank you for posting
He looks very settled already
-
Oh bless his little spotty ears, that's such a cute picture
I hope Snowy and his new foster mum have lots of fun together
-
Well done Lush, great to hear of someone trying to get the message out there
It would be nice if they heard from people to say they appreciate what they are doing for greyhounds. The contact for feedback on campaigns is [email protected]

Gorgeous Womble is now in his new home
-
Snowy has developed some long-term medical issues, and will be staying as a permanent Oldies Club sponsor dog.
-
Ben has now gone to a fabulous new home
-
Dear Woody has now gone to his new home
-
Be happy, Woody, you deserve a wonderful home
-
They are horrible things - but not illegal unfortunately so I'm not sure that reporting them to e-bay will achieve anything

Buttons arrived in an Oldies Club foster home yesterday and I keep looking at her picture trying to decide what breeds are in there and have come to the conclusions that.................... I haven't a clue!
The pictures was taken by her previous owner and isn't brilliant, I hope we'll have some better ones from her fosterers soon. I *think* I can see a bit of collie in there (she's collie sized), but goodness knows what else or where the brindly bits come from.
She's a very sweet girl whatever is in there, her fosterers seem very taken with her (but Will Not Fail.....)
It's Freezing Out There Mum!

I love the neoprene coats, they look really smart (helped by gorgeous models, of course)
My dogs love their coats, yesterday when it was snowing horrible wet snow they were all double-coated with their equafleece underneath and a waterproof on top. The disadvantage was that I then had 10 damp coats to dry off
