  1. she's about 4mths now. To be honest I walked Skye lots when she was a baby and haven't come across any problems I thought it was only the large breed dogs that you had to be careful with?.
  2. They certainly do... Even most of her big teeth are through now
  3. Well Codie has been here now little over a month and has now made her self firmly at home. Its like she's always been here. Her and Skye are still best buddies And she really enjoys the constant stream of doggie arriving to stay on their holidays and is always on the go apart from at night. She loves her lies in, which I am very glad about Although she does sleep on my bed Also since about 2weeks ago she has been fully clean in the house and tells us when she needs to go outside. She has learnt to sit, give paws, leave comand and downstays. Plus she even starts her first training class tomorrow evening! Also she has gotten used to my bunnies now and can be trusted now not to chase them around the garden as she had been doing! With Candie Willow Dexter & Foxy Her fave walkies is our local woods and she has a massive obsession with burying herself in the leaves Heres a video from our walk there yesterday The terrible twosome! Today we have just got back from a walk with my other dog Skyes mummy (gsd) and daddy (merle collie). All had a good run and play together This Sunday a load of us are meeting at Talacre beach for a day long walk which i'm sure she'll love also! We love her to bits and really can't imagine life without her now Dawn x
  4. Hi Kazz, Happy gotcha day Korky! I've had the pleasure of meeting this lovely girlie and she is even more gorgous in real life
  5. Skye my 16mth xgsd cut her front pad open last Sunday which to me looked like a spilt and is about 3/4inch long. The vet gave me antibiotics and said he wouldnt bandage it as it was infected and needed cleaning twice a day. After having onlead walks all week (which she hates) I decided to chance her offlead again today and now her other front pad is bleeding . She's still on antibiotics for her other pad and now I have two pads to wash twice aday in salty water. Luckily this one isnt as bad but both look to me like spilts rather than cuts from glass etc.. ? Both my mum and I wondered whether she has prehaps dry pads like we get dry hands? Do dogs get dry pads? She has never been bothered by them before? Any suggestions on what I can use to help soften them and prevent her hurting her pads further in the future. Is there creams specifically for dogs pads? I'm going to have a root around on the internet now but wondered if anyone had experienced problems with their dogs pad's before? Dawn x

  7. We are trying to locate his mobile number at present. My mum cant remember where she wrote it . I will have a good search tomorrow. However I would have thought if he had he would have it on the pound website
  8. Thanks I will txt him shortly with the phone number. I think he'll be glad of the help as its been 2weeks now and he has tried everywhere without any sightings or new info
  9. Thanks, we have his number to contact him if we hear of anything!! I think he said the inccident occured at Price Street in Birkenhead. I really hope that where ever he is the little pup is being looked after!
  10. Hi, i've just had a phone call from a lovely man who was passed our number by a local police lady who we do fostering of strays for. Two weeks ago whilst he popped in a newsagents to buy a paper (under 5 minutes) someone proceeded to smash his van window and steal his puppy boxer dog. He has tried everywhere to locate his dog but the sad fact is, the poor dog has probably been sold on by now. If anyone hears about a young brindle boxer pup for sale or has noticed one 'appear' withing the last two weeks in the north-west can they PM me. unlikely I know but I feel very sorry for this man Here is some more deatils which he registered with the pound http://www.wirral.gov.uk/wirraldogs/Poster.asp?ID=574 Poor dog is only 9weeks Also beware leaving your own dogs in your car even for a few minutes. This may have been a one off event, but it is better to be safe than sorry Dawn x
