  1. Hiyah, great to see you, we are in Southport
  2. Just had an email from www.sibernet.com as my Tishka is on their list of Rainbow Bridge dogs, if anyone wants to read it I can forward the email. The Winter Solstice is today, the ceremony is at 8pm. If you would like to join, light a candle, face North and wish the huskies "Godspeed and a swift trail". The related poems are here "North Of Rainbow Bridge" http://sibernet.com/memorial/index.html and "The Silver Harness" http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Yard/5541/aurora.html and a true story "Magic Moment" http://sibernet.com/memorial/index.htm
  3. I will light a candle this evening, it's the Winter Solstice and the husky candle ceremony
  4. I think so, there was a photo posted on local website and someone said it is a harris hawk, Heva where is the lady? A chap has posted on the local site, he lost a Harris Hawk in June, there have been sightings in various places, Weld Road near the Fisherman's Rest, Grange Road, Ainsdale, Hesketh Park, over Pleasureland (well, what used to be Pleasureland), people are saying maybe there are two loose. I have pm'd the man and asked for his number so if any sightings people can ring him. He has had calls but when he gets there the bird has gone.
  5. The owner has come forward and should be reunited soon
  6. So sorry to hear the news, run free Sassy

She is very affectionate and in good condition apart from being a little thin around the back end. I have the finder's details, she will be taken to local shelter, if her owners don't claim her would anyone home her? She really is beautiful (She is not the one advertised as lost in The Animal Shop and the paper as the owner has been to look and it's not her

  22. We have just got back from Greenbank in the Lyth Valley near Kendal. The dogs and us loved it and have rebooked for later in the year. The owners Jackie and John are really friendly and have 6 rescue dogs, dogs are very welcome and they have thought of everything- a bowl of water for the dog's arrival, towels, spare leads and tags that say "on holiday", with the phone number etc All 3 properties have a secure private garden and you can use their woodland which is fully enclosed with deer fencing, even a free pass to use the local leisure club. We were in Underbank which is lovely with 2 sets of patio doors , dogs can go straight out into the garden - beautiful scenery with views across the valley and lots of walks. Brilliant! Can't wait to go again. http://www.greenbank-cumbria.co.uk/homefromhome.html
